I have owned this C-class wagon for almost 7 years now. I personally put about 41K miles, or an average of less than 6000 miles a year. Used for commuting to work a few times a week and an average of 2 longer trips each year (longer meaning 600 miles!). Total mileage today is 104595. I have not checked the Carfax, but the only detail that should show up is an encounter with a parking meter during a reverse. Fortunately the sheet metal was saved and only the rear glass needed replacement. Other than that all should be normal (satisfied lien, etc). This is an absolutely fantastic car. It has the agility of a small sedan, but all the qualities of a great family car and very, very utilitarian. I have always serviced the car at Benz Auto Service, and independent Mercedes Benz shop in Miami (I think I took it to Bill Ussery a couple times, but found it unnecessary expensive). The car never left us stranded or never had a serious issue. Oil changes every 5000 miles or 6 months. Last service 200 miles ago. Belt and other filters are changed every year. Spark plugs and wires every two years, etc, etc. I always performed preventive maintenance. Drives and handles perfect. Brakes are great, steering is firm and so is the suspension. No noises or unwanted vibrations. Transmission shifts smoothly in all gears. Downshifts correctly when needed. This wagon is amazingly economical. Fuel consumption averages 21 mpg in city and I have reached 29 mpg hwy doing 70 mph over 4 hours non stop.Engine temperature always stayed within limits. Never even a slight sign of overheating even during the unforgiving stop and go traffic during the peak of Miami’s summer. A/C works fantastic in all settings. All accessories work as intended: sunroof, courtesy lights, self dimming rear view mirror, auto-rain detect, lights switches, etc, etc. Stock stereo works as expected. 6 CD changer option included.All instrumentation works well. No dead pixels in stereo or onboard message center (very common). Wood is OK, retracting cupholder works also OK (recently replaced). Interior looks perfect. No stains or cracks in the leather. Only steering wheel shows some age. Shown in the pics are the OEM all weather rubber mats, but I also have the original velour ones in very good shape. The Weather Tech cargo liner is also included. Cargo cover retracts correctly and so does the cargo net. Headliner was re-done about a year ago. The paint looks like new from 3 feet, but under close scrutiny you will find a number of small chips. One quarter size ding in the rear hatch frame (see pic) and a 5” long scratch on either side of the car. These were touched up, but still show. I tried to take pics of the scratches, one of which I include a picture of. As you can see, besides the scratch, the paint is still very shiny, mirror-like. Zero, nada, no corrosion whatsoever. All glass is fine and OEM. Window tint is at least 7 years old, so expect that to start deteriorating some time in the future. Still crisp and clear, but some slight scratches from windows going up and down. Michelin matching tires with about 65% left. Two keys/remotes, owner’s manual also included. As usual all sales are final. Once you auctioned the car it’s yours. If you want to inspect it with your friend, family, mechanic, Benz Engineer, etc do so BEFORE you buy it. This is not an auction that gives you rights to inspect the car, but an auction to sell a car. This is not my first time doing this and I have seen weird stuff! Payment to be completed within 48 hours of auction close. If you need more time request that before bidding. Payment by cash in person, wire transfer or certified check against a bank with a local branch: Bank of America, Bank United, Regions Bank, BBT, Citibank, Wells Fargo, US Century Bank. Check with zip code 33149 if your bank has a branch nearby. I will drive with the buyer to the bank and cash the check on the spot. Otherwise buyer will have to wait until funds clear. This is also true if payment will be done by personal checks. I don’t trust banks, sorry!I can help with shipping, meaning that I can meet with your transport of choice to load the car within a reasonable distance. I keep the car at home (zip 33133), but can bring it to Key Biscayne, where I work any day. There is abundant parking there to do the loading, even with a long transport. ALL transport charges to be arranged and paid for by the buyer. Obviously there is no warranty offered for this car, which is being sold in as-is, where-is condition.
