This is a gorgeous1987 Mercedes 560SEC has only 71,000 miles, and is in excellent condition. It has just completed a major service. Brand new Dunlop radial tires were also installed. The paint was buffed and new pinstriping applied. Under the hood, the engine was given a major service ($4000), with fuel injectors replaced, intake manifold, AC service, and interior gone through and repairs made as needed. This 560 is as nice as you will find. It runs beautifully. These were the flagship Mercedes in their era and are starting to appreciate. Said to run, shift, brake, steer and handle very well, the car presents very nicely and comes with comprehensive service history including all original manuals, handbooks, brochures as well as factory spare, jack and tool/first aid kits.Glossy black paint is claimed to remain 100% factory applied and contrasts nicely with the gray lower beltline portions including bumpers and rocker trim. Chrome, stainless, plastics and rubber are well-preserved as well, and mirrors show none of the fade commonly associated with neglected examples. We particularly like the clean chrome window surrounds and the tidy trunk with factory spare and tool kit.inside, gray leather, carpets and door/dash trim is all holding up well with no staining, tears, sun shrinking or discoloration. The dash top shows no cracks, wood is equally clean with clear varnish, and all gauges, switches, lights and electrics are fully functional including the pillar less windows power lifts, steel sliding sunroof and OEM head unit. The old-school Mercedes factory cell phone still resides in the center console and A/C is working great.Under hood, the big 5.6 liter SOHC V8 is all stock and said to be in excellent running order, the seller noting easy starts, smooth idle and good response through smooth-shifting gears. This 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SEC comes with comprehensive service history from new and is offered by a German car enthusiast and collector who describes it as a rust and accident free example in proper working order. The car was sold new in Pennsylvania and has remained there it’s entire life. Mileage is currently just over 100k, and complete dealer maintenance stamps run to 67,000 miles in the included factory logbook.
