Beautiful and original 400 series Mercedes Benz 450SL featured in a desirable silver exterior and Matador red interior (MB-Tex) with matching hardtop. This model has a reputation for solid construction and great reliability. The automobile has DOCUMENTED- 22,560 miles, is immaculate, looks and drives as new to please the most finicky collector. The car has never been in any accident and is original down to the factory Becker Mexico am/fm/cassette radio. All numbers are matching and title is clear. I have owned this auto for well over 30 years and it has always been garaged and covered here in S. Florida. The car has been meticulously maintained by a local Mercedes specialist- I have all the maintenance records along with any parts that were replaced during maintenance. In addition, I also have the original advertising brochures from Mercedes that featured this color combo for the 450Sl in 1978. Car cover, hardtop carriers with wheels, manual, original keys and tools are included as well. The car has a new battery and set of 4 new tires. 1973 Mercedes 450 SL , 122k original miles , two owners since new , always garage kept and well maintained. Has service records and books . Recent brakes ( less than 1000 miles) and tune up runs and drives great. Up for auction is a pretty nice 1980 Mercedes 450SL Roadster. I bought this car from the original owner. It hasn't been driven much lately and I was asked to find it a new home. All in all it's a solid car. Garage kept. As stated above it does have a few things that need to be address but nothing major. I just had the brake master cylinder replaced because the car was losing pedal pressure. Stops perfect now. I have records of a recent service including, new battery, oil service, window switches, sway bar end links, wiper blades, fuel pump relay, heater hoses, coolant flush and new exhaust hangers. You getting a nice driver. With a little TLC this car could make a really nice car. Let me know if you have any questions. Also included is a stand and garage pulley system for the hardtop.
