During it's 3,000 + hour restoration a factory 5-speed transmission was installed in the car making it a very special handling car and an awesome highway car. Once shifted into its fifth gear you can travel from coast to coast with a very relaxed rpm. This is without doubt the best coupe that you will find - anything that could have been bought new from the Mercedes Benz dealer was purchased for this beautiful, costly and time consuming restoration. All of its chrome work was done by the best shop in Los Angeles [Christensen Plating] - and they have been doing our work for the last 35 years and know these cars like no one else.
