4128 Lincoln Blvd Marina Del Rey, CA 90292 310-827-8665 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250 SE Vehicle Information: Mileage: 151,428 VIN: 1110231285719 Engine: 6 Cylinders Transmission: Automatic Drivetrain: RWD Exterior Color: Silver Interior Color: Black Stock #: 8794 Location: CA Contact Information: Chequered Flag International Inc. 4128 Lincoln Blvd Marina Del Rey, CA 90292 310-827-8665 Vehicle Description: Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1967 Mercedes 250SE Cabriolet US Model. Silver with Black leather interior and Black canvas top. Auto, A/C, power steering and brakes. 151,428 miles. Original engine (#003902). Purchased in 1973 by a Pacific Palisades CA couple who owned it for 30 years after which they sold it to their neighbor who owned it for another 10. Around 2013 it was bought by the owner of the service facility that had worked on it for the last 32 +/- years - Pacific Motors on Pico Blvd in Santa Monica. They did a sympathetic restoration, stripped it for paint, removed the engine for access to engine bay and did a total repaint in Silver. Suspension, brakes, etc. cleaned, repaired or replaced. Mechanically the car is superb. Recent valve job and A/C overhaul, etc. Runs superbly with a nice gear shift, excellent brakes and steering. It has also had bumpers re-chromed, five new Michelin tires fitted etc. New canvas soft top and wool roof liner, new seats front and back, new door panels, sun visors and carpets, wood refinished etc. Comes with its spare, jack and tools, handbook and assorted service receipts. I would estimate the cost of the work at around $55-70,000 but the challenge would be to find one good enough to be the basis for the work. Inspections encouraged. All sales AS-IS. Sales tax and license fees due if delivered in California. Selling this 1970 Mercedes Benz 280 SEL-ClassFrom 2nd OWNER in excellent condition! This 280SEL W108 is a luxury sedan with a desirable longer body which was built only with 8,250 units by Mercedes-Benz from 1968 through 1971. The line was an update of the predecessor W111 and W112 fintails sedans. The performance and technology on these cars improved and had many refinements to make them some of the most well equipped cars of the era.On the 280SEL the inline 6-cylinder fuel-injected 2.8L engine produced 160 hp (120 kW) and could push the car to 120 mph. Condition and HistoryThis Mercedes Benz with its attractive color combination was driven for his whole life in the State of Hawaii until it was shipped 3 weeks ago to California where it is now here on eBay for sale. In the last 8 years there has been spent over $18,000.00 (all documented) on repairs and maintenance on this vehicle to keep its condition up to date. The working odometer reads 71,085 miles and is believed to be original due the history of all the receipts. The black LEATHER interior is believed to be original and in great condition with no rips or tears! The front seats feature each individual arm-rest to ensure ultimate S-Class driving experience. There are no cracks or rips on the dashboard. The original WORKING radio and manual come with the car.All the instruments and lights are working properly in the dash. The body is extremely re-presentable, uncut and solid. The inside of the trunk area under the original cracked rubber mat is no rust. The paint is not original and has been repainted about 10 years agoin this elegant dark green metallic color. Except one miner paint imperfection (see picture) and the usual few little touched up ships on the door corner you can clearly see this paint-job was done with high quality standards and is really in extremely great presentable condition with no faded sun spots or cracks. The chrome is overall in really great condition as well. All the different buttons on the A/C work, blowing air strong, just needs to be refiled to blow cold. The motor runs strong and starts right up. Compression test has been successfully preformed. The gearbox is smooth and changes up when it's supposed to.The brakes work all simultaneously and the car doesn't swim on the road.Differential is still tight as the overall driving experience with this Mercedes. Power steering works flawlessly as all the 4 power windows. The updated overhauled, not affected by temperature or altitude, fuel-injector pump works fine with no fuel leaks. Suspensions and four new tires were changed on the vehicle not to long ago. Honestly it doesn't really get much better than this...the 1971 Mercedes Benz 250C Coupe combines timeless classic good looks with an absolutely stunning ride. The 250/280C's are some of my absolute favorite automobiles. They are quickly becoming one of the hottest cars on the market in terms of collectability. You just don't find a car that comes close to the value you get for the little amount of money you have to invest. This particular example is a true gem. You don't see that many of them from the factory ordered with two tone paint, a floor shift and a sunroof. The windows are manual and the sunroof is power. This is the European combo you want. You do NOT want power windows as they are pain to upkeep and expensive to maintain. Yes I put Euro headlights on it and left the American foglamps. Why did I do this? Because it looks great and people compliment on it constantly. No the white steering did not originally come with the car and no you do not get it when I sell the car. You will get the perfect condition black steering wheel that came with the car. The white one was given to me by my mechanic and I'm keeping so don't bother asking folks. :) A lot of money has been put in to this car and I have all the receipts. Its just a solid daily driver. Yes the A/C works! :) One thing about the car is that someone put one of those aftermarket dash pads on it and I would want an original dash back on it eventually but this is something you may or may not care about it. Fly in and drive it home. You can drive it across the US and be a country gentleman all the way. Thanks for stopping by!
