MAGNIFICENT 1973 MERCEDES BENZ 300 SEL 4.5 The Exterior Custom Paint Color that was chosen when newly purchased is called BIZANTINE GOLD Brand New Black Leather Interior. Black and Gold Trim Mats, with the Mercedes Benz Logo accent the interior beautifully. The interior Zebrano woodwork has been completely refinished, and is absolutely gorgeous. The Headliner is Original and in excellent condition, with no rips or stains. The original interior was in very good condition, but I saw a few age cracks starting to appear, so I decided that this car warranted a New Black Leather Interior installed. The body of this car is RUST FREE and SOLID, and that includes the typical trunk area concerns of floors, fenders, doors, and quarter panels. The paint on a scale from 1-10 is a 9, and it is an older restoration, but very well cared for. The body is in excellent shape, and there is only one very small crease on the driver side rear quarter. This is a very minor flaw. The Mercedes has a Factory Sun Roof that works perfectly, along with its original Becker AM-FM Stereo, and Power AntennaAs with all the 109 300 SELs this car comes with factory air suspension, which has been completely replaced with New air bellows and front and rear leveling valves. The exhaust system has been replaced as well. The air conditioning works well and blows cold. The Engine is a 4.5 V8 Fuel Injected which runs beautifully and is highly detailed. There are 4 Brand New Michelin Tires on 4 reconditioned alloyed Bundt Wheels. The car came with 4 factory chrome hub caps and they will be included in the sale of the car. The Mercedes has its Original Tool Kit. All the chrome has been either replaced new, or re-plated, as well as the polished aluminum trim. 1989 Mercedes Benz 560 SL This a beautiful example of the last if 107 Marque Model and the most highly refined.This 560 SL is the most collectible of the 107 models, and the wisest investment in terms of value appreciation. This is a 2 owner car since new, with only 105,000 original miles on the odometer The exterior color is called Smoke Silver and has a beautiful Burgundy Leather interior. The contrasting carpets and mats as well as carpeted trunk area are in excellent condition. The Mercedes has its Original Hard Top with a beautiful Headliner in excellent condition. There is a brand new Black German Canvas Convertible Top with a tan cross arrow headliner. The body is rust free, razor straight, and was completely disassembled if all trim, and refinished with a Barrett Jackson quality show car finish. No money was spared on this professional paint job. The engine compartment is highly detailed, all gauges are in working order, and has had recent exhaust system work done. The car runs well, and the engine is quiet, with the transmission shifting as it should The original Becker Grand Prix AM-FM stereo cassette is in working order as well. This Mercedes has it original owners manuals and original Factory Window Sticker, at a cost of over $65,000.00!! The tires are in good condition with Brand New Chrome Mercedes Wheels. In my opinion the spare tire appears as if its never been used. The 1989 model was the least produce of the 560 sl, with a total number only 8,251 made for the final run.
