This is THE one you want- excellent condition, rare color combination, best year, new tires. This excellent condition second generation Rx-8 sports car is for sale. It is a great car, and needs a good home. The Rx-8 has been pampered and taken car of very well. The paint is in excellent condition having been waxed several times/ year- nice and shiny! Rides and handles like a dream (50/50 weight distribution front to back). Although on paper this is a 4-door sedan, it is actually a two door with two small suicide doors for rear seating. Also, I have to say that you can ride four averaged height people in this car with no problem! The engine is the stock original RENESIS rotary engine which runs perfectly and has never been abused. 2009 was the start of the modified RX-8s which made a good car great with the many upgrades (Engine/Transmission/Styling...many more). This is a very special and rare color combination (Black Mica exterior which changes color when the sun hits it, with Red leather seats with charcoal interior all in excellent condition), includes charcoal dash mat. It has automatic HID lighting in the front (very nice at night), and LED in the back. The tires have just been changed (less than 200 miles on them) BFGoodrich Tires g-Force Comp2 A/S 225/45ZR18 - cost $800. 2004 Mazda RX-8 for sale by original owner. This car is incredibly fun to drive and looks fantastic, and I am only selling because there are not enough seats for my family. Title clean. Very low miles (less than 41,500), well maintained, in good condition. New tires, all keys (2 plus valet) and manuals, even the original window sticker. Extended Warranty: Warranty Direct 49/49 XtraCare Plus. This is a top-of-the-line Service Contract (original cost in 2012 was over $3,200, paid in full). If you purchase this car from me as a private buyer, the remaining Contract will be transferred to you (cannot be transferred to car dealers). The $75 transfer fee is included in the price of the car. There are "service contracts" and then there are Service Contracts - I have first hand experience that almost all repairs that are not wear-and-tear have been covered. The contract covers both parts and work. Most (but not all) parts are covered. The contract expires on 6/4/2016 or at 85636 miles (over 40,000 miles from now), whichever comes first. Maintenance history: Manufacturer recommended preventive maintenance has been done according to schedule, always at Mazda service departments (full maintenance records available). Interior: The interior is in very good condition. The seat material is black leather. The front seats show minimal wear, and there is a superficial scratch on the driver side seat leather. The back seats have barely been sat on and look new. The floor mats are original and in good condition. Driver panel, radio, CD, A/C, everything works. No one has ever smoked in this car. Mechanical condition: Very good. Everything works as intended, no warning lights are on. Original engine, works fine. Breaks (disks and pads) show signs of wear and will need to be replaced/resurfaced some time in near future, but this is for the new owner to do. Mechanical repair history: Never any major mechanical failures. As in any car, some minor wear-and-tear or mechanical issues have arisen along the years but I have had them taken care of at Mazda service departments only (full records available). Electronics: Everything seems to work as intended. Tires and wheels: The rims are OEM 18" and show some curb rash. Wheel locks included. The tires are 225/45R18 all-seasonals and practically new - only about 200 miles on them (Continental ExtremeContact DWS - $650 value). A second set of OEM wheels is included (these do not have the TPMS sensors). Accident history / Frame damage: None. Accident history / Body: There have been only a couple of minor parking lot -type incidents (other than these the Carfax is clean). Overall, the body is in good condition and the paint shines as new (see pics). The body currently has a few minor age appropriate dings and scratches, which give the body a "good" rating (= not bad, not showroom, in between). Right side fender got an indentation at a parking lot that was massaged back to its original form - hard to spot unless you know where to look (I have an extra fender that I never end up putting on the car because I saw no reason to). Rust: Body panels appear rust free apart from rear quarter panels that show some rust in a small area next to the rear wheel wells. Undercarriage shows an amount of rust that you would expect to see in any used vehicle. The most recent repairs and tunings were done less than 2 weeks ago at the Mazda Autobarn in Evanston, IL (replaced 2 solenoids, new oxygen sensor, new sway bar links for front wheels on both sides, balanced front wheels). The cost for these was about $1,400 total, of which over $1,100 was covered by the extended warranty mentioned above - should give the new owner some serious piece of mind. The service department gave the car the full Mazda multi-point inspection and a clean bill of health. A pre-purchase used car inspection, paid by the buyer, can be arranged at a professional car shop of the buyer's choosing in Evanston, IL.

Up for sale is my 2009 Mazda RX8 Diamond Gray Metallic. The car is extra car for me and I just don't have any need for it any longer. The car is very good shape. I'm the second owner, the first owner was actually a friend of mine. The car currently has 44,165 miles on it. I wouldn't expect it to go up much as the car just isn't driven much. The car received a brand new engine from Mazda 106 miles ago. I have all paper work from the Paul Miller Mazda documenting the engine replacement under warranty. As you may know the engine still has a 8yr/100k warranty. The car is an auto and shifts flawless. - I had a the gear in the driver's side window motor strip causing the window not to go up. It was repaired and replaced with a stronger aftermarket gear. - Front brakes are brand new (maybe 30 miles) - The interior was just professionally detailed - Car has never been in an accident - car comes with sirius xm The only thing the car could use is a new set of front tires. There may a nick or ding on the car, but looking over it nothing majorly sticks out. I'll be on vacation the rest of the week, but I can send additional pics at request. The car has a Kentucky lien free title.
