I have a 6 speed 2004 Mazda Rx-8 with 73000 miles for sale. I am the second owner. Non-Smoker. I have the Carfax, with all of its scheduled maintenance, from when I bought the car in 2013. I am a certified Ford tech so I have completed all of the maintenance from then on. The car is in near perfect condition, and has had regular preventive maintenance every 3,000 miles. At 60,000 miles I changed the Transmission and Rear End fluids to Royal Purple. It has Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors, with Power Stop pads, and has W rated performance tires with only 10,000 miles on them. I also put on a set of fully adjustable Megan Racing coilovers with only 3,000 miles on them and had the stock rims custom painted. I also changed the spark plugs, wires, and coil packs along with replacing the battery with an Optima Red top. The A/C system was flushed, cleaned and refilled a few months ago. Only need to sell the car to get through college. It would not be going if I didn't absolutely have to sell it. I just want to find an owner that will take care of the car as well as I have. Full leather interior in new condition, good floor mats, a/c and heater in good working condition, heated leather seats, hid headlapms, fog lights.Read the list for all work and parts in this rotary,i have every single piece of paper from engine warranty to even the wheel alignment all of it.. - upgraded oil pressure regulator for better oil flow and cool bearings and rotors- brand new street ported rebuild engine with new rotors bearings,and both fwd and rear stationary gears,with new atkins apex seals and all gaskets(both housings and irons where resurface to almost new condition both housings and irons had 38,000 miles also rotors) Engine has less then 1500 driving miles since rebuild. No lights on the dash and most important i build it to be very reliable. All this parts have less then 1500 miles on it, i enjoy and always have a blast driving this car and i really love it but my life has change and now i have different priorities. Don't paid same amount for another rx8 with original engine and stock condition when you can buy this one with everything brand new on it. I have owned this vehicle for 6 years but it is time to let it go. I drive 33 miles to work (one way) so this is not a practical car for me at the moment. It has had regular maintenance done consistently, I have the majority of service records available dating back to 2009. Oil was changed every 3,000 miles. I recently replaced the clutch kit and reinforced the clutch pedal to avoid the issue described here: so the clutch is brand new (not the pedal). As stated above, the car has around 88,000 miles on it at the moment, this number will go up a bit since I am still driving it. The original engine was replaced by Mazda under warranty, so the new engine has around 44,000 miles on it. All paperwork related to this replacement will be included. Interior shows little wear (only tear is in the shift boot, which has a small hole, see picture), the paint still shines like new. I recently replaced both the driver and passenger side sun visors. They are both in great condition. It is also worth mentioning that these cars had a known issue with moisture/water getting inside the tail lights. I have addressed this issue by replacing the gasket and resealing the taillight enclosures. More information on this here: Car comes with spare tire kit. All recalls have been completed, the last one was done in July, 2015 (replaced driver side air bag inflator). Car includes two sets of keys + FOBs and a valet key, so a total of three keys and 2 FOBs. Owner's manual is also included. I will even include two small bottles of Titanium Gray Touch up Paint (29Y) Cons: The heater/AC (temperature) control is a bit quirky, this is a known issue with these cars, it is a simple fix but I honestly have not had the time to repair it myself. You can find a description, as well as a solution to this known problem in this link: . The A/C - heater unit itself works without any problems. Tires are in OK condition but the rear ones might need replacement. (3/32 or 4/32 thread depth). Small dings here and there (minimal but all will be shown in pictures) and shift knob shows some wear. Im selling my 2006 Mazda rx8 shinka auto 106,000 miles. I had this car for 6 years and its in fair condition. It has rough starts but runs well. I purchased this car 6 years ago in a new jersey lot. Shinka takes its name from the Japanese word meaning "transformation" or "evolution".[5] Billed as a more luxurious grand touring model, this Shinka came with Black Cherry exterior color and Parchment leather interior along with subtly chromed 18" wheels. Out of the total production of 2150 vehicles, 1357 were produced for North America market. The most significant mechanical change were slightly revised Bilstein shocks and suspension cross member injected with urethane foam to improve ride quality.
