Up for sale is a restored 1965 Lincoln continental. Complete Professional Bare metal paint job, done right at a body shop, base/clear, cut & polished(25k+).   All new black (real)leather interior,  custom made by macs upholstery in Ballard. every single chrome piece, inside and out has been replated, and all Stainless trim pieces repolished.  plating/polishing work was Done at Fraser valley plating in Canada, highest quality. New completely rebuilt motor, rebuilt transmission. All new suspension, new brakes, new tires, new hard lines, rubber, hoses, weather-stripping. literally everything.  The list is endless, many, thousands of dollars invested. In the 60k range.  Please make no mistake almost every single mechanical part is brand new or rebuilt.  Currently it's sitting on original steels with coker whitewalls and restored hubcaps, but the black 20"wheelset with toyo proxes in the photos are included in the sale, those have 0 miles on them. The car was completely stripped down, every nut and bolt, and to bare metal. I never got to the very final tweaking and adjusting.  All the major restoration and hard work was finished about 5 years ago. And it's just been sitting since then. However it's not entirely finished, there is a short list of things that need to be done to have it perfect, it runs and drives, but needs some tweaking and finishing touches. And it hasn't been run in years, only has about 500 miles since the restoration. Here is the list of work I can think of off the top of my head. The interior is completed with exception to the rear door cup chrome pieces which I have.  1.  the transmission is new and rebuilt, by Seattle transmission, however the linkage needs to be adjusted as it won't shift into reverse. But goes into drive and shifts and functions flawlessly.  2. The a/c system needs to be flushed, and converted to 134. With the new motor came a new compressor with the belt system. I never completed the conversion.   3. Some dash switches will need to be sourced. There is almost no aftermarket for this car so all the switches are original, and some are worn beyond use.  I can't remember which ones. But some shopping on eBay should remedy the situation.  4. the brakes need to be adjusted, I believe it's the proportioning valve. It's a completly brand new system and it needs to get dialed in Those are main projects. I can't think of any other projects that would require attention.  Some small tinkering here and there. But understand, almost everything on the car is brand new, new hard lines, new rubber, 99% of the mechanics are new or professionally rebuilt.  it really is a complete restoration. It's a ton of car for the money.  Honestly, I just don't have time to finish it and enjoy it. Current insurance appraised value is 28,000. I'm asking 25,000.00 OBO, Please understand more than twice that was put into this car to bring it to this level. Note though, this car has just been sitting in storage, I haven't started it in years, it has stabil in the fuel. I will charge the battery, and start it up for you to pick up. I drove it back here from seattle, it's quite road worthy.
