Beautiful original 1959 Lincoln Continental Mark IV This car is in very good original condition. The paint is in good condition for original paint, there is some checking and a few chipsThis car has the original 430 engine with 4 bbl as well as the original transmission. The chrome is also in good condition. This Lincoln has not been driven much recently due to my fathers failing health. All the power windows work including the rear window that opens as well. The vent windows are also power. There is a small exhaust leak, I believe it to be one of the manifold donut gaskets. There is lots of room in this Continental, took some friends out for ride the other day – there were 4 adults and 3 children comfortably in the car. (I dare say more comfortably than in our Explorer – more leg room for sure!) Original seats are in great shape, there is one button missing on the back of the seat. Original headliner and door panels are in good condition as well. There are no cracks in the dash, but it is beginning to sag a little. There are a couple of windows with cracks. To my knowledge electrical, horn, lights, blinkers, work as they should. The wiper motor is currently not in the car; my father was working to convert it to electric wipers, but did not get that project completed before his passing. My father owned this car for the last 20 years, it has been garage kept for those 20 years and to my knowledge the previous owner kept it garaged as well.
