They combined luxury features with a sporty personality, reliability and good performance. This 1997 Lexus SC300 is in very good condition, and it runs and drives great. The paint is called Diamond White Pearl, and it looks great on this body style. Exterior features include alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and fog lamps. NADA retail price for these cars ranges as high as $9000. Our price is well below that. The exterior is in very good shape overall, but this is not a new car, and it is not a show car, so its not perfect. There are a few minor dings and small nicks, but nothing significant. The interior is clean, and in very good shape, obviously a reflection of the low mileage on the car. The leather seats have no holes or tears, and the carpets, dash, and door panels are all nice. Both front seats have power controls with lumbar. The driver's seat has memory. The rear seat is excellent. This Lexus has some nice luxury and convenience features: Power windows, locks, and mirrors; Remote entry; Power tilt & telescoped wheel Cruise control; auto air conditioning; Rear defrost, and much, much more. Safety features include a dual air bags and anti-lock brakes. There is an AM/FM/Cassette stereo with a CD Changer in the trunk. (cassette player does not work, but the CD changer does). For sale is a 1997 Lexus SC300. I am selling this car for my son. The car is in Yorktown, Virginia 23691. The reason he is selling is because this car needs a few repairs. However, the car is in good running condition and is drivable. Since he doesn't know how do to these repairs, he has decided to sell the car. These are the repairs his mechanic stated he needs. The No. 6 fuel injector gets stuck when car is first started and the engine shakes a little. As it warms up the problem gets better but doesn't go completely away. The car has a power steering leak. The radiator has a slight crack. When he fills with antifreeze it takes about a month to leak out, about a gallon. The air conditioner has a slow leak. After filling with Freon it takes about 3 months to leak out. It has a check engine light - might be EGR or catalytic converter, not sure but nothing serious. Traction control light blinks. He has always taken care of this car - changed all the fluids, etc.. The brakes are fairly new with grooved and slotted rotors, (4 wheels). After market chrome wheels. New Continental DWS tires. This car comes with brand new shop manual, new about $85. The exterior of the car is in very good condition with no rust. The interior is in very good to excellent condition. 1999 Lexus SC300 Sport Coupe with 24k original miles. I‘m confident you will not find a comparable Lexus SC300 anywhere on the market. I searched quite a while for this car and have been extremely happy with it. This SC is finished in the best color combination offered: Renaissance Red over Sandstone Ivory leather interior. The condition of this vehicle is astonishing. I’ve strictly hand washed this car followed by a hand wax/buff, every time. The finish shines new. The interior has that same strong Lexus leather new car smell as the day it left the factory. The leather and carpets are in absolutely excellent condition. I only drive this car in perfect weather and park it out of direct sunlight. It’s always stored in a garage while covered by a custom made, laser-fit, car cover (included). The car has a matching set of Michelin tires with about 90-95% tread life remaining. The service work has been done at Lexus & Toyota. I only use premium grade fuel. I have all keys (two master remote keys and a valet key), owner’s manuals, and the previously mentioned custom car cover. It's just as mechanically sound and solid as a 24k mile car should be. I'm obviously interested in selling this car. Please understand “interested” and “desperate” are opposites. Keep that in mind if you're thinking of making an offer. Only 1,910 SC’s were made in 1999.
