1965 Land Rover Series IIA Factory P/U This is a great opportunity to own an extremely rare, Series IIA 88 Land Rover Factory Pick-up, with the short, 88” wheelbase. This Land Rover started life as an emissions test vehicle for the Rover Company in the mid 60’s. It was stored for 35 years when I purchased it from the original owner. He worked for the Rover Company (now Land Rover) and performed emission, and cold start testing in Michigan on this vehicle. This vehicle has been carefully “restored” to excellent running order without sacrificing its patina and charm for an off road vehicle of this era (check out the vintage “Dymo-mite” label still on the dash “Emission Test vehicle no. 9”). It also comes with 3 license plates, the English plates, the original Michigan plates, and the current (with current registration) California plates. All of the parts on this pick up have been replaced with Genuine Land Rover parts.
