1996 Land Rover Discovery 1 ~ 2nd owner since 1998. Have books and most records. Vehicle runs but will shut off and then hard to restart when hot. Seems to be a common problem. According to reviews can be a fuel pump or relay (although doubtful as will run), possibly throttle body, or some other problem. Have no one in my area that really knows how to work on Land Rovers so have purchased another vehicle and letting this one go. In the past 2 years, vehicle has been repainted, new brake master cylinder, new rear brembo rotors and pads. Two new catalytic converters added this year. Overall condition is fair+. Front seats need recovering and some inside trim is broken, etc. Shows overall wear for age. Needs tires. Cruise control is not working. Tape cassette is stuck in tape player so radio won't play. CD player not working. Not used for off-road but great in the snow. Never been wrecked or damaged. Vehicle is sold AS IS with no warranties. Buyer responsible for pick up/shipping and any associated costs.
