As with any land rover rust areas, such as the door bottoms and bulkhead is inevitable. Having said that, the doors are viable for repair, and certainly are not throw away unlike half the doors we see on trucks like these. The bulkhead, will need extensive repair. I will gladly help in the process of sourcing and or fixing the doors via the company i run, or even repair or replacing the bulkhead. Defenders of this vintage all have bulkhead issues, as they tend to last about 5-10 years before rust sets in and starts eating away at the metal. The Good: 1)Aesthetically an extremely good looking 1984 Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon, the pictures do not do her justice. 2) Car drives well, shifts well, and there are no unusual worrisome noises. 3) Little to no rust on the body. 4) Bulkhead is in extremely good condition. 5) Undercarriage has always been waxoyled. 6) Comes installed with a power outlet mounted to the front bumper and an uprated rear towing hook. 7) Car has been serviced for the road ahead in mind --> OIL CHANGE, DIFF FLUID. The Bad: 1) Seat belts have been cut --> this will be resolved at sale. 2) Rear mudflap has come undone --> Mudflap is present and in all likeliness will be reattached before weeks end. 3) Waxoyl is starting to show its age, reapplication is highly recommended. 4) The seats could use some attention.
