Land Rover Defender Twin Cab Pickup. 1988 model that was the very first of the Defender 130's to be manufactured. This vehicle is incredibly rare for this age and there are just two others registerd at the DVLA and in existence in the U.K. This example has a genuine 107,000 miles from new. I have just fitted a brand new Ashcroft Gearbox/transmission and it runs incredibly well in the city and on the interstate. In addition, I've fitted a winch bumper and some other parts. I have a lot of history with the car to prove the mileage, I imported it myself, but I have to sadly sell it due to last minute relocation. I had big plans for the truck. As I said this vehicle is incredibly rare and I doubt I will find another of this year. HERE ARE COMMENTS FROM PREVIOUS OWNER The motor itself is running beautifully, no oil leaks, no burning oil, will run all day long if you want it to. I do not hesitate to drive it anywhere !! It seems to be a favorite among men and women of all ages. Every where I go someone has to stop me to tell me a story about their experience with the Defender model !! The check engine light has been on for approximately 3 years, The cats clogged up and the O2 sensors went bad, so I cut them out and ever sense then I have been unsuccessful with resetting the computer. I have learned to ignore the light in the cluster. It actually runs better without all that in place It does have a working snorkel, but I currently have it disconnected because it seems to me to restrict airflow and results in power loss at speed. It is easy to reconnect if desired. Tires have less than 1000 miles on them. I HAVE A CLEAR TITLE IN HAND !
