Previous owner kept it as an off road toy. 80000 original miles. A great running bare bones Jeep that you could paint and customize the way you want or do absolutely nothing and have a reliable fun daily driver. Mechanically sound. Regular oil changes. Clutch recently replaced as well as transmission clutch master and slave cylinder. New tires. Warn M5000 winch. 6000 lbs capacity. I bought the Jeep with the blue half doors and a Besttop soft top with the soft windows (as pictured). Looks really sharp that way. Last year I bought the hard top and doors to help with the winter cold. As you can see, the hard top could use a little love as well as the doors. The full doors need new locks and window regulators if you want to use them. If your weather allows, I would go back to the half doors with the soft top or no top.A cool Jeep made for fun. Jeep drilled holes in the floor to allow you to take a hose and just hose out the Jeep and let all the water drain out. Please note this is not a pristine interior Jeep. If you are looking for a showcar, this is not for you. It is wired for a radio, but it was stolen so as pictured the radio is missing. No A/C. Spray liner on the floor as pictured. Used nice 1998 Jeep Wrangler, hard top, clean inside and out, has signs of wear and tear, has a little bit of rust, just cosmetic, no structural damage, everything works, daily driver, engine and trany don't have any leaks at all, steering box has a small drop of fluid if you park it over night, starts right up and takes you anywhere you want, 4x4 works great, light on the dash doesn't turn on but both low and high work great. Few new parts, windshield, multiple switch on the steering column, soft door tops, heater blower resistor, passenger door locks only from inside, blue tooth, USB, nice Sony player, tires are in pretty good shape and have prob another good 50% of life ahead. The dash and surrounding plastics are clean and near perfect condition aside from one flaw, a small crack in the plastic door panel just above the door handle (detailed picture included). All window seals are tight and leak free. This Jeep is mechanically sound. No check engine light, smoke, rattle, knocks, pings, or leaks. Underneath is also very clean. No rock rash, scrapes, or grime. To back anything described, I welcome a 3rd party review prior to purchase. Specific pictures are available upon request. Seller Notes: I love this Jeep and have struggled for a while whether or not to sell it. My fear is that I will never be able to replace it, or find one like it in this condition.
