Up for sale is my 1986 Jeep CJ7. A California spec CJ which stayed in California all its life. I am the 3rd owner of this pretty much original, unmolested last year production Jeep by AMC. All original sheet metal otherwise with nothing to hide. In addition to, the jeep has never seen offroad use at all. I have changed all the drivetrain fluids in the last few weeks, including the motor, coolant, PS, the diffs, TC and transmission. The Frame is super straight, no damage, rust and no fluid leaks anywhere to be seen. The motor still has the original Carter 2BBL which amazingly works perfectly. The jeep has a smooth idle and runs perfect. I have described the Jeep to the best of my ability. Its a very sound sample of a CJ jeep, unrestored and left unmolested. This is a good driving 1977 Jeep Golden Eagle CJ5 Limited Edition. Runs and drives well and is currently registered. Always a California car. Equipped with a 258 6 cylinder, 3 speed manual, and power steering. The engine runs well but has a little noise when cold but when warmed up it is not as noticeable. Transmission is good and shifts like it should. Sits on 35 inch tires with springs still under axle. The interior has nice bucket seats with four point seat belts. Has original rear seat but needs to be reupholstered. Relatively new Besttop soft top. Also, comes with bikini top and half doors. No rust body with original paint. With a set of front fenders you would have an exceptional Jeep CJ5 Golden Eagle to use as is or an excellent candidate to restore.
