1983 cj7 258 straight six T5 5speed Dana 300 TC The GOOD: installed in 2008 new 258 motor (has less than 30,000 miles currently) clutch and all clutch linkage replaced motorcraft 2100 carb DUI ignition/distributor family style roll bar rubicon express 4” lift heater core, blower and all ducts done in 2011 brand new starter and alternator all gauges work except fuel parking brake works tuffy lockable console with stereo in it(cd with aux) 32” tires (one mismatched) could easily fit larger The BAD: Leaks from windshield area down dash Rust on tub worst under windshield hinges and the rear corners/tailight area (have pics) floors replaced by PO still solid couple small holes rear framerail rusted/cracked both interior locks not working(may need to be reattached or broken) have one replacement PO herculined, coming up in some areas Drivers seat in rough shape, passenger fine, rear in my basement (original with one or two small holes) no horn one windshield hinge broken battery at 12v but doesn’t seem to be charging adequately Extras: (uninstalled) soft top (frame and fabric in rough shape) two bikini tops (one spice, one black) w/ windshield channel extra yj style mirrors extra set of fenders various stainless hardware(bolts etc.) set of aftermarket lights factory rear tire carrier rear seatbelts may even have a extra cpu and wiring harness(have to look for it) New: Still in original packaging windshield rubber(weathrstripping) windshield cowl rubber(weathrstripping) horn interior lock mechanism(drivers side) windshield hinges $2500 Jeep just gets moved for alternate side parking once a week Got a new JK, this thing needs a loving home. This was my 2nd and at times 3rd vehicle(reason for the low milage on new motor) Never let me down, fun in the summer top and doors off, unstoppable in the winter (never had to shovel for the last 2 blizzards that hit nyc) I think I covered everything, if i think of anything else I will update this post.
