The body is in very good shape with the exception of a dent on the front fender by the headlight. Paint only has typical use flaws, no major scratches or fade. Some clear peel on the hood, very hard to see. Its a small spot towards the pass headlight. The interior is also in good shape, with some cracking on the drivers seat bottom being the only real flaw. These cars are an absolute dream to drive, I've had several XJ8s and the road manners are fantastic, a very quiet smooth ride with plenty of power when you put your foot down. The car DOES NEED WORK. It will need the dent on the front fender repaired (if you would like) It MAY also need a battery, this one may come back with use. The main problem with the car, and why its being sold so cheap is that it has gearbox flaw code. It does drive and will move on its own but this should be addressed to use everyday. It feels like it is starting in 2nd not first gear. It does not have the pickup from 0 that it should. It could be a very simple fix, like a sensor, but how you see it is exactly how we got it. The car drives fine when the code is cleared, but the code will return and with it, the problem. We have not done any work to it or even washed it. It is being sold for a wholesaler, in wholesale condition. Understand that it will need work. It should not be driven long distances until its looked over. This is a 1998 Jaguar XJ8 with 95 thousand miles. The car runs and drives great. This vehicle is very nice inside and out. Their is some minor imperfections. Their is some ware here and their as you would expect from a 17 year old vehicle. Their is a dent on the deck lid and some ware on the driver seat. Their tires are old and miss matched and should be replaced. Very nice car and every thing is in good working order. This car has seen only 3 or 4 winters.
