This is a really cool 1972 International Scout II 4x4 pickup. It was used by one family as a farm truck for two generations. It was parked in 2001 until recently. Odometer reads 37944. Clear NC title. Runs, drives and stops. Transmission was rebuilt in 1999 - two years before it was parked. Had regular maintenance while it was being used. 4 wheel drive and transmission work great. Engine is 4 cylinder. It smokes (needs valve seals) and carburetor needs rebuilding. Passenger tail light (see picture) has been reattached. There are some body and rust issues (see pictures) - both quarter panels need patching, passenger rocker panel needs patching and driver fender needs to be replaced. Dash pad is cracked. Overall, this is a sturdy and very interesting truck. Call/text Duaine 336-392-4055 with any questions. Any payment method other than cash or paypal must clear our bank (7-10 days) before vehicle and title are released. This vehicle is being sold locally so we reserve the right to remove this listing at any time. It is being sold where no warranty is being written, expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for local pickup or shipping arrangements and costs.

For Sale is a fully restored 1969 International Harvester Scout 800A. You will be hard pressed to fine another one as nice as this. With only 7,700 original miles I bought this Scout from a gentleman in Raleigh who told me the Scout started life as a work truck for NC State, where it sat for many years and he bough it at auction. This truck comes equipped with a 196cu in 3.2L Slant 4 Cylinder, with 3 speed unsynchronized Manual, and Dana 20 Transfer Case. Restoration stated in late 2014 and was completed in early 2015, including but not limited to New Front and Rear Cargo floor, Rockers, Roll Bar, Starter ect. Interior has been re upholstered with new cushions and leather (Seats, Dash, Visor) as well as been sprayed with red bed liner. Bulkhead included comes out for easy use of backseat, or take out the back seat and leave the bulkhead in for a pick up truck. This Iconic 4x4 Truck entire top comes off from the windshield back, the perfect candidate for a summer beach cruiser. Motivated seller Asking $35,000 or Best Reasonable Offer.

I'm selling a 1974 Right Side Drive International Scout II. I have had this Scout for almost 4 years. I have a love for older cars. I have owned a few different ones already in my life but, I have always wanted a Scout ! This one smacked me in the head, I bought it, and it did not disappoint !! She's unique with her RT side drive, VERY little rust, numbers matching, fun to drive, not a V-8, just a little car. She is RARE ! International Harvester didn't make rt side drives out of the assembly line unless you order it. No one knows how many were made each year because the records are "lost". Most say it was less than 100 each year. I was hoping to keep her forever but health issues have kept me at the doctors and not on the road having fun. I don't drive her as much as I would like and it's a shame to see her sit in the garage covered up. This is what I know is good and what she still "needs". For an everyday driver she is good to go she doesn't need a thing. If you want keep toying with her there are improvements that can be made. Year- 1974 Make- International Harvester Model- Scout II Body Style- MP Engine- 258 Straight 6 Since I have owned her this is what I have done. . . Got her a back seat Re-did the upholstery with Marine Grade Vinyl (Front and Back Seats) New Tires (have about 300 miles on them) Converted it to Power Steering ! That was tough, just to find a custom shop that could do it !! Installed Marine Grade Radio and Marine Grade speakers, Now she has sound !! New Custom made Carburetor New. . . Radiator (and all hoses), Brakes, Plugs, Wires, Distributor cap, Coil, Alternator, Starter, Seals (all of them !), Fuel Pump, U-bolts, Belts (all of them !), Gear oil, p/s fluid, Steering Coupler, Deferential Oil, Spring Pads, Brake Springs, Exhaust gasket, Valve cover gasket, Thermostat, Differential gasket, PCV valve, Ignition coil, Vacuum hoses, Transmission filter (all new fluid), Clamps. . . everywhere, Tailgate cables, Oil pan, Rotors, Battery, Probably more but that's all I can think of. . . Now the "bad parts".. she doesn't have a top (you get a soft top made), no heat (Can get a new heater ), gas and speed gauges work but bounce, windshield wipers don't work, no arm rests, Doors open from the outside, The stuff that's left I thought was little stuff and I just didn't do it. . . The only thing I have wanted to do and haven't done yet is put in an Electric Choke. It's not a big deal to wait a few for the old girl to warm up. . . : ) There are a few stickers on it. I got it that way and didn't want to paint it yet. . . I got few more stickers and some vinyl decals to add some fun. Most come off with no problem. . . She drives GREAT !! Totally trust her. . . no smoke. . . no drips. . . just smiles and head turns. I have a clean NC title in hand. Please feel free to contact me with any questions !! No low ball offers... -Michelle Convertible, summer fun, unique, vintage, 2 door, 258, marine radio, marine speakers, truck, SUV, automatic, numbers matching, off road tires, top off, cruise, cd player, IH, I H, jeep, cj5, cj7, bronco,
