This rare Scout Sportop is all original with only 35800 miles! The vehicle came from Wyoming out of an estate sale, from the original owner. The Sportop was an option with a fiberglass removeable top, only produced for three years. It has the 152 four cylinder engine, optional 4 speed transmission and 4WD. Drives and runs like they did when they new! The interior is excellent with all the components from the factory. Absolutely NO RUST! The Scout has all the original hubcaps including the one for the spare tire. The exterior has had some paint touched up over the years, but no body damage. This is a very rare Scout, all original, all complete, never restored, impossible to find with this few miles! Also comes with the Line Setting Ticket,(International's version of a build sheet). International Harvester : Other Diesel 1968 international factory diesel pickup

We have a very rare 1968 International pickup with a factory installed Diesel engine. It's a IH D301 that I believe came form the Construction Equipment Division at the time,( it shows this in the Line Setting Ticket). The truck runs great, drives good, and the brakes work good,(the power of this engine is amazing). The truck doesn't smoke once warmed up, it's actually running in the outdoor pictures? The truck deserves restoring, but I don't have the time to do it. As you can see it does have the typical rust issues, like the cowl area and the rear of the hood, the bed sides and tailgate are in great shape but the floor is bad. What is so unusual is the truck is very complete with no factory parts removed. The radio works great, and also have the Line Setting ticket that shows the factory options. The previous owner had the engine overhauled at 110,000 miles and it only has been driven 6000 miles since then, (have the paper work), this truck sat for many years. This truck was originally sold in Idaho and has a clear title. I have only see pictures of one of these on eBay before but it was a 3/4 ton, this a very rare 1/2 ton. Very well documented truck.
