We bought this Infiniti QX56 new. It has 104k miles and runs great. It just had a new timing chain installed at 101,622 miles as part of a manufacturer recall (not a breakdown). As part of the timing chain installation, they replaced a lot of parts including gasket, crankshaft sprocket, camshaft seal, oil timing jet, valve lifter, front crankshaft seal, manifold to cylinder gasket, O-rings, power steering fluid, coolant, and the differential oil. So, many of the things that would eventually deteriorate over time in the engine are brand new. People claim they have new tires on their vehicles, but see the treat depth markings, which indicate 10/32". I put these tires on within the last few thousand miles. I also replaced the front brake pads and rotors within the last couple thousand miles. I also replaced the battery within the last month. The oil has been changed regularly with only synthetic oil. If you don't know, the QX56 is very fast for a full-sized SUV. It has over 400 horsepower, and goes from 0-60 in the 6-6.5 second range. There are video screens on the back of the front headrests. Of course, it has all the usual options like navigation, power everything, heated seats in the front and middle rows, power sunroof, etc., etc. It has been a great truck. It has 104k miles on it, so the exterior is not perfect, but it is in great shape, and does not look like it has 104k miles on it. I tried to take pictures of the minor imperfections. The most noticeable is a little paint peeling where the front fender meets the grill area. That happened a couple years ago and has not gotten worse. Considering the vehicle is black and the surface under it is black, it is less noticeable than you would think. Other than that, there are some light nicks and scratches, and the top of the headlights are starting to get a little hazy (like all vehicles do after several years). Be sure to look at the pictures. I'm trying to describe it accurately, but I think it really looks better than it sounds when I describe it. I notice that the picture of the hood makes it look like there might be a big dent near the windshield. There is not! Something about the angle of the camera and the reflection of the light created that optical illusion!
