You are bidding on a Laser Red 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe, “Leather”, with the optional Premium Package. The premium package includes a 220 watt Bose® audio system, dual zone automatic temperature controls and built-in “Homelink” (garage opener) transmitters. I purchased this car new in 2003 as my company car and kept it after I retired. I am now selling this car because the “powers that be” (read wife) have decided that I need a pickup truck so that I can more easily haul fertilizer, bushes, trees, flowers, tools, dirt, debris, etc. (I don’t do any gardening but I’ll bet you can guess who does). The car has always been garaged, never abused and meticulously maintained. Castrol Syntec full synthetic oil has been used exclusively and the oil filter has been changed with each oil change. The car is newly equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Unidirectional high performance tires that have less than 500 miles on them. These tires hum more than most Michelin tires, but ride smoothly and corner beautifully. The vehicle has never been in any accidents, large or small, or had any major mechanical problems. I have many, but not all, of the maintenance records, including the Walmart® 96 month battery warranty and the Walmart® Lifetime Rotate and Balance warranty on the tires. I believe that both warranties are transferrable. There are two mechanical problems with the vehicle: The passenger side power window needs a new motor and the power door locks have recently become temperamental, working sometimes and not others (mostly not). These problems may be related but I really don’t know for sure. I rarely use the passenger’s window so I don’t know how long it has been NOP. I have done some research on replacing the window motor and find that you can buy a new motor for less than $100.00. If you like to DIY, as I do but can no longer, there are a number of web sites with detailed instructions to help guide you through the process: Infiniti door panel removal Infiniti power window reset procedure Infiniti DIY Projects Almost all of the miles on the car have been highway miles, which are very easy on the engine, transmission and other mechanical components, but pure hell on the paint job. This car is no exception as it suffers from a case of “road rash” (numerous small paint chips), mostly on the hood. Some touch-up paint, a steady hand, and a lot of patience would pretty much cure the problem. If you have your heart set on an absolutely showroom-perfect vehicle, you’ll want to have the hood repainted. Sorry about that. If you like to drive then this is the car for you. If you have never owned a high performance sports car then you are in for a real treat as this car runs like a scalded dog and corners as if it were on rails. I have never driven a BMW (“The ultimate driving machine”) but I cannot imagine that any BMW runs faster or handles better than this Infiniti G35 Coupe. That said, if you are looking for a soft, silky smooth, quiet, sedan-like ride, then this is not the car for you. Please check the photos and don’t hesitate to ask questions. If you would like to see a photo of something specific that is not in the gallery, let me know and I’ll be glad to provide it to you. Thanks for looking.
