1950 Hudson Super Eight Coupe - Only 1,074 produced - Restoration completed 2009-2010 - Very Stock Car This is a very nice restored car. I bought it with the intention of making it a mild custom, but it is so nice, stock, and rare that I can't bring myself to modify it. You just don't find such rare cars in bone-stock condition, so I want to pass it to someone who will appreciate it in its current state. The restoration was completed in 2009-2010 and still shows very well. Paint, chrome (replated), interior are all very nice. No rust anywhere. No dings/dents or scratches that I can see. The only flaws I see on the car are some water staining on the interior cloth panel of the driver's door and some paint bubbling around the vinyl top where it meets the body above the rear deck. Straight-eight engine, three-on-the-tree. Runs and drives as a restored car should. The front bumper-guards were not reinstalled, but come with the car (replated). Also included are books/manuals, as well as a full photo album documenting the restoration. Due to the restoration, the true mileage is unknown. Clean California title, which is in the name of the previous owner (signed). If that is a problem, I may be willing to get it transferred into my name before completing the sale, but I prefer to sell with the current title. Please contact me with questions. I am listing this amazing car on behalf of a friend of mine who is not computer literate. I have seen this car in person and It is in wonderful condition. The interior is more pristine than my own modern car!! The car has only had 1 prior owner and has since been stored in a temperature controlled garage. It is hard to tell because of the dust that has accumulated but the paint is in very good condition. I had suggested that I would wipe the car down for the pictures but the owner was concerned the dust may scratch the paint and is going to have it professionally cleaned ASAP. It is to my understanding that the only issue with this vehicle is a faulty valve in the engine.
