It is time for me to move on from this car. I purchased this car two years ago, and it was in rough shape to say the least. Everything works as it should besides the AC. I have replaced the compressor, evap core, expansion valve, drier, and it will cool very well for about 3 weeks. After that, the Freon has all leaked back out. I was told that a shop could put in a dye that would help locate the small leak, but I have not gotten around to it. The previous owner wrecked the car a few years back in California, and I have the paperwork for it. The right fender, and the bumper was replaced. But it was considered a total loss So the title is a salvage title. The body of this crx has 269,000 on it. Back in 2010 a shop in California installed a sohc zc with 45k on it, along with a new flywheel and clutch. I believe that I still have that paperwork as well. In the two years that I have had it, I have replaced a good bit of stuff. I will try and list them all. The car itself, no leaks, smoking, oil consumption, etc. Suspension is nice and crisp, tight, no slop. This is a great handling car. I have put nearly 7,000 Miles (miles, not KM's…) since I purchased the car. It has Never broken down, or left me hanging. The only reason the car has upgrades on it is because sometimes OEM isn't good enough. Not a single upgrade that I havedone is permanent, or irreversible. If you are a "purist" and have to make everything OEM, this is a short list. I love the car the way it is now, wouldn't change a thing. As much OEM parts that could be purchased, I bought them all.On a car this old, you can't always get OEM, but I have tried. :) The only KNOWN issues & current repairs needed - Missing 1 plastic trim driver door sash, (included, not installed yet), I just purchased this from Honda.Rain gutter trims are not installed yet, (included, not installed yet) Still looking for clips. (Trims are brand new OEM Honda)Exhaust has a tiny rattle on cold start up, isolated in the resonator. I prefer the OEM Exhaust, it has never bothered me. The Auto climate unit in the dash, has a crack in the faceplate. Still works good as new, no issues. Just cosmetic. Thesecan be readily purchased on Yahoo Japan auctions ($200-250), I never saw the point in replacing unless it actually stopped working.There is no radio unit or speakers.
