The vehicle was purchased after driving through fresh water on the highway. Water was sucked into the intake. We did a full inspection on the engine and trans and found no water in either. We did have to replace the starter and alternator. It appears that the water got just the carpet wet as the power seat was functioning perfectly. We pulled the damp carpet, steam cleaned it and allowed it dry over the course of a few days. After re-installing the carpet the vehicle started right up with no issues. This Terrain runs and drives excellent in its current condition with no problems found in the engine, transmission, suspension, cooling and/or electrical. There are no warning lights illuminated on the dash. This Terrain comes with a free 90 day or 4000 mile on-site warranty. About The Warranty This Power train warranty comes at no charge and covers the power train for 90 days or 4000 miles. All warranty work must be performed at our dealership in Brighton, MI. For out of State customers should something major occur we are more than happy to ship parts to you, but we do not cover labor charges that our not our own. This coverage includes the engine and transmission, not the engine accessories (starter, alternator, a/c pump ect.) Drivability Details This vehicle has been test driven and is found to be in excellent operating condition.
