1990 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe RELISTED DUE TO A NON PAYING BIDDER. PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU PLAN TO PURCHASE! I am proud to offer this incredibly nice, low mileage, collector owned, 1990 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe. With just over 44,000 original miles on the odometer, this T-bird has been meticulously cared for and maintained. I am listing this car for a friend who has decided to reduce his car collection. Body:This car started as a very nice, solid, low mileage survivor. It was taken to the next level by applying a custom PPG triple stage Winebury paint job over a silver base. It has 4 coats of Deltron clear over the candy paint. The color is similar to the original, but with much more depth. This car was used as a calling card for his body shop, to show off the type of work they are capable of. To replicate this paint job, would alone cost more than the asking price of the car. All of the door jams, trunk, and under the hood were painted to match as well. This was not a quickie paint job... It is show quality. The rear trunk and taillights have been swapped out with a later model version to give the car an updated look. The front bumper cover has never been drilled for a license plate, but there is a small scratch here that could be covered by a plate if desired. Drive-train:The Super Coupe came from the factory with a 210 hp. Supercharged 3.8L V6. This car was ordered with the automatic transmission. The Super Coupe was ahead of its time with all disc anti lock brakes, auto adjusting shock absorbers, and a fully independent suspension. The drive-train has been left OEM original. It has not been modified or hot rodded. Only maintenance items, (such as the new water pump) have been changed. The car also has tasteful aftermarket 17" 5 spoke wheels with 235/50/R17 performance tires. Interior:The beautiful black leather interior shows very well for its age. The driver and passenger seat does have some slight wear consistent with the year of the car. The back seat however appears to have never been sat in! The car is loaded with options including power windows, power locks, power seats, automatic seat belts, premium sound, and more. The audio system has been upgraded to an Alpine CD player with AUX input. The A/C blows cold and the heat works great as well. It would be tough to find another car with this low of miles, and in this condition for this price. I think it truly is a steal. Basically you are buying a paint job and getting a car for free! The car runs and drives great, and is ready to be enjoyed right now. It has recently had all of the fluids changed and is ready for it's new owner. The car is babied and always stored indoors, but could be a daily driver if so desired. Many states allow cars that are 25+ years old to be titled and insured as collector vehicles. In some cases, you can avoid all of the inspections, emissions checks, and registration fees with collector plates. I am happy to provide reasonable assistance with shipping this car world wide. Rare bird, one owner 1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau! New paint! Hard to find a better '64 T-Bird for the price! This beautiful one-owner Silver Mink '64 T-Bird Landau was assembled December 26th, 1963 and delivered to the Kansas City sales district where it was purchased from inventoryon January 15, 1964. It was a Sunday driver for much of its life. This sweet ride has been stored in a garage over its 51 years with precautions taken to preserve and to protect from humidity. The roof was replaced and it looks great! Living up to its original advertising, this 4th generation T Bird "...is so beautifully different!" The body is rust free, with straight lines and panel. The original chrome is in excellent condition inside and out. The car was recently repainted with the original metallic blue color known as “Silver Mink”. The original red interior is in amazing condition, the dash has no cracks, and the headliner looks like new, the original Thunderbird floor mats look great! The carpet litterly looks like new under the floor mats. The rear coved seat is beautiful and comfortable. 1964 is the first year of this body style. The car comes equipped with the original big block 390 cu in (6.4L) FE V8, 4-valve, 300 Horsepower. The Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission is smooth shifting providing a comfortable ride with the tight suspension and new Monroe shocks all around. The Michelin tires are in great shape too! Additional comfort comes from the Swing-Away steering wheel, stock power steering, the new-to-1964 Reclining Passenger Seat option, air conditioning and the fully functional stock AM/FM radio! Each of the flight-deck controls and gauges work as do the windshield wipers and washer sprayers. The power brakes were recently serviced. The original owner served on the USS Arizona prior to WWII, after getting out of the Navy he started a Ford tractor dealership in Missouri. He and his wife purchased this car new in 1964 and it stayed in the family until they passed away and the car was sold in August 2014. Since then the dual exhaust system from the manifolds to the tail pipes has been replaced, the cylinder heads have been rebuilt with hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel, the four barrel carburetor has been replaced with a new Edlebrock 600 and the ignition points have been replaced with a Petronix ignition module upgrade. This T-Bird is tuned up and runs great! The car is ready for date nights, cruise nights and to take around to local car shows.
