I am 2nd owner and am 73 years old, I just don't drive it. 300 miles in last 6 years Most important thing about this bronco is NO RUST, the underneath is very solid with zero problems. it runs and drives as it should. 351 Windsor, bored, heads shaved, Mallory ignition, etc etc etc,. full upholstery, power antenna, back seat, side pipes, speedo shows 28,255, I believe that would be 128,255. I have many receipts from the 2005 total restoration, but not all of them.

Up for auction is a 1989 Ford Bronco. I do have clear titles to this bronco and the 1995 parts truck. The bronco has either a 4in or a 6in suspension lift and a 9in rearend. It is in pretty good condition with minor rust over the wheel wells and some on the tailgate. The floorpans are in great condition also as well as the rockers. I was told the transmission has been rebuilt with a shift kit but I can't confirm it. This bronco had a 5.0 motor but the crank was broke in half so I pulled it out. When I pulled the 5.0 motor I had to pull the front clip off because of the front bar and the height of the lift and the clip is now all disconnected and will lift off as an assembly. I was also told the stock gas tank has been changed to a larger 32 gallon tank but I can't confirm that either. The front fenders are bent due to the last owner running larger tires. Also included in this auction is a 1995 Ford F150 Eddie Bauer parts truck. The parts truck body is in bad shape but has a good 351w motor and an 8.8 posi rearend that is to be used for the bronco swap. The bronco has a 9in ford rearend right now. The black rims shown in the pics do not go with the bronco and I will install the chrome wheels and used 32x12.50x15's that came on the bronco. The axles have 3:55 gear ratio. The interior has the normal wear and tear on the bucket seats and rear bench. There is not a spare tire carrier. There are no bumpers included except the prerunner style on the bronco now. The interior panels are not perfect either. I may have forgotten something so ask questions before bidding.

The truck was delivered to Hillsboro Ford-Mercury in Ohio and made its way to South Carolina soon after. Having lived in the South almost all of its life, the truck has remained rust free and totally solid. The Bronco is powered by a G-Code 302 2V, which is freshly rebuilt and comes with a 3-year warranty. The motor is hooked to a C4 automatic transmission, which drives the 3.50 conventional rear end. The engine exhales through a new factory style aluminized dual exhaust system with factory sound level mufflers. Please note that upon delivery, the engine which was a 3-year old rebuild developed piston slap at start up and was sent out for a complete rebuild. The truck with not be available for delivery until the end of November.  The Bronco is an easy truck to drive and enjoy. It has an unmodified but rebuilt stock style suspension and factory size tires. With the only suspension upgrade being a larger sway bar, the truck rides smooth and is easy to maneuver and feels so much more in control than the lifted and highly modified versions of these trucks feel. The driver also benefits from power steering, and power brakes which make driving the vehicle a cinch. The 4-wheel drive system has been tested and works correctly. Creature comfort upgrades include an aftermarket A/C system, which will keep you cruising through the summer heat. The paint is now a two stage version of the original single stage Dark Jade Metallic paint. It lays over an uncut body in which the only filler used was to get it straight before it was painted. The interior is completely restored as well with all new soft parts and a new hard top liner. I used to drive it around town, but moved further out and it has been sitting in my climate controlled shop for the last 5 years. I am in the process of moving and my new home only has a 3 car garage so some of the toys have to go. This Bronco would make a weekend toy or with a little work you could have a decent driver for a lot less than what others are going for. I have owned several of these Bronco's and I bought this one because it was pretty straight and had very minimal rust. I won't say rust free, because it is a 35 year old car, however, there is very little rust on the Bronco with none of the usual problem spots. The bronco runs and drives, but is a little squirrelly on the road, most of the front end is new and I think a steering stablizer would fix it. I drove it as is, but it would need checked out before driving on the road. The D44 and suspension lift were put on in 2009, the Rancho lift was new and the D44 was rebuilt at that time. The original motor was swapped for a 351W, this is a pretty hot motor and truthfully a little much for this short wheel base Bronco. It runs very well and is very streetable, but I would think twice before turning my kid loose in it. The previous owner did the motor swap and was planning on making a full fledged rock crawler out of the Bronco. I stumbled upon it and because of the straight body and minimal rust I was able to save it before he took it out on the trails. He did however move the radiator to the back and replace the factory gas tank with a cheap plastic tank in the bed. The tires are 35 inch pro comp mud terrains on procomp wheels. I bought these new when the lift was put on in 2009 for around $2000. They have only been driven on the road and have very few miles on them. I have a factory rear bench seat in good condition and the stock divider that goes behind the rear seat The bad:The body has normal bumps and dings and is not perfect. Seats are out of who knows what and although comfortable, I was going to replace them. The radiator and fuel cell in the back are very crudely done, they work, but if it was me I would put the radiator back up front and buy a nice $200 fuel cell here on eBay.

The truck received a complete frame off restoration back to new condition and has only test miles since the work was completed. Every screw, nut and bolt was handled on the truck in returning the vehicle back to better-than-showroom condition. It runs great, looks amazing and could easily be the prized piece in any collection.  The engine close-to-stock 302 with a Comp Cam, Edelbrock intake, and Mallory Electronic ignition. The motor breaths through a Ford Racing air cleaner and has matching Ford Racing valve covers. Exhaust exits through a set of ceramic coated long tube headers which flow through a set of Flowmaster duals. The engine falls into a nice idle post start up and has that classic fat Flowmaster sound. The transmission is a the factory 4-speed, and the transfer case is a Dana. The rear differential is a Ford 9" and the front differential is a Dana 44. The total drivetrain has been completely rebuilt, and like the rest of the truck, has just test miles. The engine compartment is immaculately laid out and features all new cadmium coated bolts to secure the metal. Everything is tight and thoughtfully arranged. While removed from the body of the truck, the Bronco's frame was media blasted, primed and then painted in semi-gloss black. After the frame was painted, all new suspension and steering components were reinstalled from front to rear. The truck uses a set of 33x12.5 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain TA and has a full sized spare in the rear. The Ford is equipped with power steering, and also power brakes making it easy to drive and handle. The clutch is a stock like set up so it's easy to operate and does not have that leg press feeling.  The body of the Bronco is a bare metal re-finish from top to bottom. The paint is a base clear metallic and looks incredible under any lighting and is especially vibrant in the the sunlight. The beautiful blue paint flows into the engine compartment, undercarriage and the interior and retains a high finished quality throughout. All of the hardware was replaced on the body during the restoration, and all of the rubber trim is new throughout. The glass was all replaced at the time of the restoration and all of the trim and chrome is either new, or restored.  The interior of the truck is equipped with all new covers, carpeting, and hardware. The removable hardtop has the proper factory liner and new hardware all the way around. The wiring on the truck is is all brand new and all of the electronics are in excellent working order. Aiding the driver are a few extra AutoMeter gauges and the truck still utilizes a rebuilt factory speedometer. All of the blue interior paint has been sanded and buffed just like the exterior of the truck. The attention to detail is just incredible.  Broncos have recently risen dramatically in popularity, so a lot of vehicles have popped up on the market — the only problem being that most of them are in a sad state of affairs in terms of condition.
