This is a gorgeous Goldenrod Yellow 1955 Thunderbird with Black and Yellow Interior, black soft top and body color matching hard top, great condition. Rare full width Continental Tire kit on this T-Bird. By looking at the vin number, this model was one of the early models, manufactured in June 1955. This is a real collectors car, low volume model and lower volume with color and options. The Thunderbird was Fords answer to the Corvette and the T-Bird outsold the Corvette 23 to 1 that year, 3,500 Thunderbirds sold the first 10 days of being launched. This is a very rare color for this year, less than 5% of the cars sold where this color. The car was repainted in 1995, could use a freshening up on the paint, The fuel lines have been replaced, a new fuel tank, new fuel pump, brake lines bled, and most of the wiring has been redone recently, converted to 12V. This is a 64,312 original mile car, 292 V8 Engine with 4BBL Carburetor, 193HP with the T-bird Dress up kit. Original Speedometer reflected top speed of 150 MPH. 2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary Edition East Coast Classics is pleased to offer this stunning 50th Anniversary 2005 Ford Thunderbird. Finished in red over black interior, this car boasts only 27K miles. Runs and drives like a dream. Everything works perfect. Truly a time capsule. Previous owner must have been an enthusiast, or collector, as this car shows very little signs of wear, and has no known issues.
