This is not your ordinary Ranger, this truck has been my project for a long time now and like all projects you tend to sell one to start another, this is a 1998 ford ranger xlt and iv gotten a lot done to this truck, for a small desctiption it is a good running little truck and has been my daily driver so miles will change. it has a v8 5.0 from a 1998 ford explorer and the automatic transmission it has engine light on due to removing cats and running full exhaust system from headers back into flowmasters out the back but doesn't affect the running. its a very strong truck and iv not had any issues with it. I am selling this truck because I am going through a really tough time with finances and cant afford to keep my truck, I made the mistake of buying a new car that is taking a toll on my wallet so luckily for you this is your chance to buy a nice ford ranger that has already had the v8 swap done. body: 2011 front clip, lights seats, and 16" rims with new tires, fender flares and bran new paint job with spray in bed liner. engine: 5.0l v8 and automatic transmission from 1998 explorer. interior: aftermarket cd player, kenwood door speakers, 2011 ranger leather seats/ drivers has tear in bottom. running gear: 7.5 rearend with 3:73 gear 2wd it does run and drive great but is will need tailgate, tires balanced, alignment. 1988 Ford ranger Many new part's full tune up new brake's new front shocks. Very little rust don't see any holes paints faded doesn't look the greatest but would be a easy restoration or good for a V8 conversion. Run's great I use it almost daily but the trans has a hard time going in over drive sometimes. Over all this is a great truck. There is rust on the bed fender wells and a small spot on the hood. Headliner is torn and coming down. Tires have less than 500 miles on them. They are the 50000 mile tires. New fuel line, new fuel filler neck. Paint is peeling. It was painted in 2011 by earl schiebe. There is no stereo I have put 3 in and they keep getting stolen. Passenger side door key lock does not work. Door will lock but you can not unlock with key on passenger side only. Motor has less than 20000 my dad had it rebuilt before he died. Just a side note. The starting price is what was offered on trade in at a local dealer. THIS CAN ONLY BE PICKED UP BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:30 Am and 3:00 pm eastern standard time. Monday through Friday. Great all around truck that drove my two oldest to High School. Have owned it 5 years and boys are off to college and don't need a car there. Great for light general hauling, getting mulch, or clearing brush. Owner before us worked at a paint shop and was a mechanic so got a custom paint job and swoosh decal on sides and good stereo, as well as really maintained it!! Great bargain for a local truck! Wish they still made them like this one!

Truck is in great shape for the year. Cab floor on the drivers side needs to be repaired (well rusted out), which is the only drastic rust on the entire truck! Floor pans go for around $35. Has a 3" body lift, 31" tires with a lot of tread (small checking from age), MSD Ignition Box, Accel wires and coil. Fresh oil change with fram filter, new belts, newer battery... Starts and runs... Need brakes all the way around, and the clutch bled, exhaust from the cat back is gone.
