This is not your ordinary Ranger, this truck has been my project for a long time now and like all projects you tend to sell one to start another, this is a 1998 ford ranger xlt and iv gotten a lot done to this truck, for a small desctiption it is a good running little truck and has been my daily driver so miles will change. it has a v8 5.0 from a 1998 ford explorer and the automatic transmission it has engine light on due to removing cats and running full exhaust system from headers back into flowmasters out the back but doesn't affect the running. its a very strong truck and iv not had any issues with it. I am selling this truck because I am going through a really tough time with finances and cant afford to keep my truck, I made the mistake of buying a new car that is taking a toll on my wallet so luckily for you this is your chance to buy a nice ford ranger that has already had the v8 swap done. body: 2011 front clip, lights seats, and 16" rims with new tires, fender flares and bran new paint job with spray in bed liner. engine: 5.0l v8 and automatic transmission from 1998 explorer. interior: aftermarket cd player, kenwood door speakers, 2011 ranger leather seats/ drivers has tear in bottom. running gear: 7.5 rearend with 3:73 gear 2wd it does run and drive great but is will need tailgate, tires balanced, alignment. this is a great truck and i can see it lasting someone a long time i just really need a bigger truck that being said i will be as honest as i can be the people i bought this from said the engine was rebuilt that i have no proof of but it does appear to have new gaskets throughout the motor it has k&n intake which i recently cleaned during tuneup and oil change a/c does not work don't know why never looked into it there are some rust spots on the front bumper wich is painted black i planned on getting it chromed when i got the truck just never had the money has after market rims but the chrome seems to be coming off of them in a few places 15 inch mud tires hancook brand name takes bumps a little rough but thats to be expected out of a truck has a nice tight clutch but not too tight recently had to put a timing belt in it put in a new tentioner as well windshield has a few cracks construction on I-24 had gravel being slung at me has a black plastic toolbox in the bed that i can be talked out of power plug in cab works but lighter does not tumblers in ignition stuck where u can start without key which also makes it ding all the time when driver door is open gets about 18 mpg on the highway and depending on your shifting not much less in city all lights work and by the way nice bright headlights 6 cd changer works great cloth seats under the center console there is a tear in seat plastic (not carpet) floors for easy spill cleanup. i know my discription jumps around but i was trying to remember evrything so you know what your getting if you have any further questions feel free to ask and i will reply asap thanks for your consideration

Have a 2002 Ranger with a clack noise in engine. Have had many opinions as to what it is, I don't know. It seems once the truck warms up it quits making the noise. The AC works great drives really tight and the condition inside and out is good. Inside of cab is in great condition with only a worn spot on the driver's seat.
