1962 Ford Ranchero/Falcon - a ford falcon from the front seats forward. Was lightly rest-modified in 2012-2015. Is currently used as reliable daily driver/city streets commuter. Estimated milage is 18,000 as the previous owner only drove it on the occasional weekend drive across town to visit his grandmother. Engine and transmission work well. This is a very solid cancer free body project. It runs, drives, and stops. The original gas tank has been professionally cleaned coated, have receipt. The original radiator has been boiled out and upgraded to four core have receipt. The DRUM brakes are new with new wheel cylinders, surfaced drums, packed front bearings, and bled. *** I did not replace the power brake booster, power brake part does not work***. The automatic transmission has a new filter and a drain plug installed. The cooling system has a new water pump, thermostat, and hoses. ***I did not replace the heater core***, all the belts are new. There is a new fuel pump an inline filter. The car is an original air conditioned car with the vents in the dash. It is a complete car that has not been dismantled or molested. One of the original wheels is missing and the car has a set of rolling tires. This is a clear title original black plate california car currently on non op status with CA/DMV. There is surface rust no rusted through areas anywhere. The It needs body work, headlamp and tail lamp bezel, and a new grill. Needs paint and interior too. The car has a repairable fiberglass tonneau cover and a nice shell in good condition. It has a coolant leak on the left side of the engine under the exhaust manifold maybe the freeze plug I don't know?? It comes with a new battery. To start it I have to short across the solenoid. Up for Auction is a 1968 Ford Ranchero Base Model. It has a 289 engine and automatic transmission. The "B&M Floor Shifter works smoothly" The truck Runs and Drives Very nicely on surface streets as well as on the highway. The truck has "Power Steering" that works very well as well and "Power Disc Brakes" that also works very well with no pulling to left or right when applied. I had the stock 2 barrel carb and intake removed and had a "NEW" Edlebrock Intake installed. I installed a NEW "Holley 600 Electric Choke Carb" I also installed a "NEW" 3 core Aluminum radiator. I have all of the removed parts and they will go with the truck. The Original radiator has the "68" stamp and code on it. The truck has dual exhaust. The truck has a custom headliner. Sound deadner material was also applied to the insde roof prior to the headliner installation. The truck has a "NEW" 2 stage base coat, clear coat paint job . The trucks hood , front nose piece and upper inside door pieces were removed and painted separately. The "Engine bay" and the "Interior cab" were also repainted. The Floors were in pretty good shape only needing minor patches behind the seats and in the upper left driver side floor. The truck has "New" Sound deadner on the interior floors as well as "NEW' Insulation and "New" carpet. The , Speedometer, Headlights, Tailights,brake lights Horn, Turn signals ,gas gauge, Heater Blower, Windshield Wipers, oil pressure, "ALL WORK". The "Windshield and Rear view mirror " are "NEW", The "Fuel Sending unit is "NEW". The Garage pics show the car with 18x9 wheels from a 2007 Shelby Mustang and seats from a 2003 Cobra Mustang. The engine and trans have 14,000 miles on them since being rebuilt in Feb. 2014. Still has original block but now has Austrailian heads and headers, original trans and an aluminium radiator. American mags 15 inch, BFG tires, button on bed cover, custom billet grill, '72 hood scoop, black powder coated headlight/taillight bezels, windshield/window trim. 1968 Ford Ranchero GT It is a California car. 390ci motor with newly rebuit C6 transmission. Factory AC. Clean title. It has a Y VIN code for big block. The engine runs great. The body is mostly straight. New tires. All of the 390, Ranchero, GT badges and dog dish hub caps are present and good condition. The interior is in great condition. Odometer shows 30222, which I have to assume is 130222. All of the factory gauges work except the clock. Edelbrock manifold and 4 bbl carb. Needs paint and minor body work in a couple of places. Has a minor oil leak and the power steering has a small leak. AC needs to be recharged. Passenger door window track needs repair.
