HISTORY: See Carfax for detailed information. This is mostly a clean NEVADA Car, Driven by elderly school teacher until she could no longer drive the vehicle. Purchased the Vehicle as a small restore project in 2013 Unfortunately, No time to restore Vehicle, so selling it as is. Vehicle would make a Great, Inexpensive Restore Project! Drivers door opens with exterior pass key. Passenger Door opens with inside door latch but.does not open with exterior door key. Auto Trunk and Rear Hatch remote buttons in glove box, work fine. Rear Hatch door opens with key and lifts up fine but needs new door struts to stay up open without support. Tires good tread has sidewall cracks so listed as fair. Engine runs great once started, but hard starting due to gas line holding pressure. This car has been garaged most of its life but has also sat for extended periods. Fuel lines may need adjusting for pressure. Engine restarts after reaching operating temperature, with difficulty. Engine will not easily restart when hot. It is believed that an inexpensive easy to replace engine sensor can easily fix this issue. Engine Heater Core was bypassed due to heater core leak. A/C Refrigerant needs recharged or converted to the new R134 System. DIY Kits are inexpensive and easily available. Small repairs in past 12 months. New Heavy Duty Battery, new spark plugs, new starter switch, ICM - Ignition control module. Recommend Transmission oil and filter changed, possibly oil and filter change. Front Shocks need replaced. This 1989 Ford Mustang LX will make a Very Nice, Sharp Classic FOX Body Mustang with just a little TLC. The possible upgrades are Endless as after market Accessories are readily available including a possible 5.0 Engine Swap if desired. However, the current 2.3L engine keeps down your Fuel and Insurance rates. This is a Very Cool Looking and Fun to Drive FOX BODY Mustang, already RARE to find a Good One these Days.
