This is a long ad, as there is a lot to discuss about this car. I’m going to try to cover everything I know, but am happy to answer any questions or provide additional pics. I am selling the car because we have to have something with rear seats and between this one and my vette…I flipped a coin. This car NEEDS NOTHING and is in 9.5/10 condition for a car this old, with only 53K miles (going up a bit as I drive it). I show the car and have even taken home a trophy. The paint on this car is not mystichrome. I have had my car next to a mystichrome at a car show and my car clearly has more colors. Mystichrome paint has blue, purple and green colors to it. As you can see in the pics, mine also has gold, red and some other subtle colors in it. It’s simply beautiful. Speaking with the original owner, we believe what happened was this; someone backed into the passenger door in a parking lot several years ago. It was nothing major, but there is no spot painting these cars. The ford dealer repainted the entire car. We think a mistake was made when the paint was ordered and they sent Saleen rainbow paint, a $15K saleen-only option. I do not know that for sure, but that’s the only explanation. People talk about their car being a head turner. My vette is a head turner…this car makes people stop and point. Some of the pics show the old wheels on the car, it comes with the new FR500s. Also included a couple close ups of the paint, the metal flake really pops. Sorry, the car is dirty in a few of them. I have had the car for 4 years. It’s a garage queen and I drive it on Fridays, when there’s no chance for rain. The wipers are not even on the car (but will be included). I’ve included a list of the mods below but wanted to mention a couple things. First, the car makes 498 RWHP. The shop told me it makes more power than any other cobra they have done with the same bolt on mods. I don’t race it, but if I did, I think the 410 gears would be too much. For driving around town it is a blast to drive, but traction might be a problem if the car is going to be used for anything serious. All of the convertible top components are brand new. One of the rams was leaking a bit so I had everything replaced since they were already in there. New RAMs, new motor and lines. He also went over all the straps and framing. Looks and works great, but it does go up and down a little crooked. Tech said nothing to worry about and it should level out once things get stretched back out. Everything is really tight, that’s for sure. But no leaks or worries with the top. Receipts included. I had the stereo custom done last year and it sounds GREAT. All alpine component speakers, a 5 channel amp and ported, low-profile JL Audio sub (with sub volume knob in console) = huge improvement over mach system. I have Mickey Thompson street II drag radials on it. The biggest tire that will fit, 305/35/18. These grip like crazy and are the best street tires I’ve ever tried…but they will rub a bit if you hit a big bump just right and/or have a car full of folks. There has been no damage to anything and it doesn’t bother me, as it rarely happens, but it might bother you or it might be worse, depending on your situation. The tires themselves have about 1000 miles on them. Fronts are new Nitto NT555, 275/35/18. MODs in no particular order: CDC light bar with rear brake light Reichard Racing 2.9 upper supercharger pulley with snub idler BBK Twin bore 65 mm throttle body Custom billet intercooler tank and overflow tank Chrome under-hood bling MGW Yellow handle, short throw shifter. Custom shift knob K&N cold air intake Hood struts AFCO dual pass heat exchanger Ford Racing intercooler pump Kenny Bell 40 amp BAP Mac Prochamber with O/R mid and Borla Stinger Cat Back Custom Kevlar/Sintered iron 700hp clutch assembly (stock feel) 26 Spline input shafts Ford Racing 4.10 gears Billet Flow IRS brace Full tilt Boogie Racing deluxe bumpsteer/upgraded toe link kit H&R Sport lowering springs Maximum Motorsports CC plates Tokico adjustable shocks and struts KR500 wheels Maximum Motorsports full sub frame connectors SCT X3 handheld tuner. Custom tune installed The BAD. 1. There are a couple rock chips in the paint. I used mystichrome touch up paint on them and will send what I have left with it. But if you look, you can find them. There is not 1 door ding or dent anywhere and no marks of any kind on the wheels. 2. I believe there is a very slow drain on the battery. I leave it on a battery tender but if I don’t, after about 10 days it turns over really slow and I’ve had to jump it. If it’s driven regularly that won’t matter. I had the local ford dealer check it and they said there was no drain, but I disagree. It could be the battery I suppose but I replaced it. Again, only an issue if it sets for several days. Battery tender will be included. 3. There’s a mark in the paint, behind the trunk lid that you can only see when you open the trunk. It’s about 2 inches long (see pic) and was there when I bought the car. This is not a new car. There are some minor signs of minimal wear, but you won’t find many, if any, terminators in this condition. It runs perfectly, and again, needs absolutely nothing. Everything works and I have both keys, manuals, etc. I’m happy to take more pics or even shoot a video if desired. I know buying a car like this sight unseen is risky. I am an old retired Air Force Chief and my word means something to me. This car is as described. If you are going to have the car shipped (once funds have cleared), I will oversee the process and take lots of pics of the loading. I will also ensure the shipping documents reflect the condition of the car, as shippers like to fudge the documents a bit to allow for any light scrapes or marks they might have missed (or caused themselves). You can fly into Vegas and drive it home; happy to come pick you up. If you have any questions or would like to see the car, please shoot me an email with a # and I’ll call you. Clear title in hand. No trades, promises or joy rides. If you don’t have the funds, don’t bother. Thanks for looking and God Bless.
