This car is one of a limited number of units produced and unveiled at Kentucky Speedway in 2011. The 2012 Mustang Convertible GT was named the Official Pace Car of the Kentucky Speedway in summer 2011. The Ford Mustang Official Pace Car was sold equipped with GT PKG6, Comfort group, HID/Security Access, 64V wheel, and rapid spec 401A. This limited offer also came with custom graphics and official plate installed. Only 46 vehicles were customized for sale for this event, where the new owner would receive tickets to the event, an opportunity to drive the track and meet a driver.
