If there is one man that knows how to build a fast Ford, it\'s Jack Roush. Ford already offered the public a Mustang GT that produced over 400 horsepower, but that is hardly enough for the team at Roush Performance. With 540 horsepower and less than 7K miles on the clock, this 2012 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 3 is a pristine example of some of Jack Roush\'s best work. Starting life as a convertible 2012 Mustang GT, this Roush Stage 3(also dubbed RS3) underwent a host of cosmetic upgrades to live up to the standards of wearing the \'ROUSH\' windshield banner. Buyers were given a wide range of color options for the body and graphics, creating 288 unique color combinations. This one wears a vivid coat of Race Red with black stripes and white stripe accents. Black and red have always gone well together and this car is certainly no exception. With the fully loaded RS3, the lucky owner gets a ROUSH front fascia with driving lights and chin spoiler, a billet grill, side rocker splitters, rear valence with newly designed exhaust tips, and a rear deck-lid spoiler. Reminding onlookers of what they\'re in the presence of are familiar Roush badges with subtle \'540 HP\' callouts. And exclusive 20\'\' Roush wheels wrap up the showroom fresh look. Roush styling enhancements don\'t stop on the outside, the first notable cues inside are the wonderfully designed black buckets that are wrapped in leather with red stitching, and feature alcantara inserts with more dual stitching and a \'3\' branded logo reminding you what stage of Roush performance you\'re about to take the wheel of. Where ever you look, there is more \'ROUSH\' branding such as the illuminiscent gauges that features Ford MyColor, the foot pedals, the round shift knob, and the boost gauge strategically mounted in the left air vent. The steering wheel is wrapped in more alcantara, giving a pleasant hint that you\'re in a special Mustang. But if you aren\'t so sure, there is also a Roush plaque mounted in front of the shifter, ROUSH illuminated door sills, and even a signature by Jack Roush himself on the glove box. Being 2012 Mustang, you can count on all of the luxuries you would expect like keyless entry, an AM/FM/CD player with satellite capability, Ford\'s SYNC system, air conditioning, cruise control, power seats, a power convertible top, and many more modern amenities. A Stage 2 package from Roush would stop with cosmetic upgrades and few bells and whistles in the handling department, but the Stage 3 goes a good bit further. The main feature of this RS3 Mustang is the 5.0L V8 that has been fitted with an R2300 Roots-type supercharger that forces intercooled air into the 302 cubic inch motor to create 540 horsepower! Mash the gas pedal to the floor and the ROUSH exhaust system roars to life as you row through the gears of the 6-speed manual transmission. Knowing that straight line acceleration is only part of the equation, Roush Performance installed fine tuned front struts and rear shocks, upgraded springs, front and rear stabilizer bars, and an anti-wheel hop kit. This is a car that is capable to be driven daily or lay down some insane numbers at the open track day. Keeping things under control under hard acceleration and heavy braking are sticky 275/35/20 Coooper Zeon RS3 tires at all four corners(believed to be original to the car) with power four-wheel disc brakes clamped by ROUSH Red brake calipers. First thing\'s first, this is a car that was built to terrorize the street and dominate at the track. If you\'re a performance enthusiast, it\'s a car you\'ll enjoy driving for years to come. If you\'re a collector that is looking to preserve some limited production late model muscle, well...here\'s your car. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Charlotte showroom. Mustang fans, this is how you do it right. Take the best-looking Mustang of them all, paint it Calypso Coral, give it a burly 351-inch small block and an overdrive transmission, then go have some fun. Showing only 564 shake-down miles since it was completed, this is an extremely high-quality resto-mod that\'s ready to cruise or show at any level. It\'s hard to tell from photos, but this is one of those rare cars that\'s even nicer in person than it looks. There\'s got to be $15-20,000 wrapped up in the paint job alone and it shows. The Calypso Coral paint is just the right shade and the bodywork is excellent in every way. The Mach 1 was arguably the best-looking Mustang of all time, and with upgrades like the Shaker hood, chin spoiler, and rear wing, it certainly looks the part of a high-performance pony. Special Mach 1 pieces like the rocker panel moldings are beautifully finished and the blacked out stripe treatment with \'351\' callouts is expertly applied. Chrome bumpers sparkle against the bright orange paint and all the stainless trim has been polished up to look great. This is a really impressive car! The interior has been fully restored to stock specs as well, complete with black Comfort-Weave buckets and a fold-down rear seat for practicality. Looking inside, you\'d be hard-pressed to see any of the modifications, and it looks quite stock right down to the woodgrained steering wheel. This is a factory A/C car, so the system was retained and rebuilt and even the original shifter still looks original (more on that in a moment). Crisply restored gauges show vivid markings and bright, clear lenses, and there\'s an accessory column-mounted tachometer that\'s a period-perfect upgrade. The workmanship is show-quality throughout and there are almost no signs of use or wear anywhere inside this Mustang and even the clock is fully functional. An AM/FM stereo radio fits neatly in the original radio\'s slot and doesn\'t even look that out of place until you really get close and examine it, which is the entire point of this car. The trunk is also correctly finished with reproduction mats and a very clean look. The engine is a balanced and blueprinted 351 cubic inch Cleveland V8, which means it loves to rev and pulls like a freight train. It\'s pretty correct under the hood, with a proper Shaker hood scoop, Ford Blue paint on the major components, and a set of attractive finned valve covers that are period-perfect. Upgrades include an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition system, and a slightly larger cam to give it a bit of a lope at idle. The engine bay is nicely detailed with lots of correct features, right down to a reproduction battery. Long-tube headers and a stainless exhaust system with X-pipe give it a spectacular sound and with an AOD 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, this car is an effortless cruiser, particularly with 3.30 gears in the 9-inch rear end. The suspension was lowered to give it just the right stance and those Magnum 500 wheels are arguably the best-looking design of the period. Beautifully built and ferociously fast, this is a car that nails the resto-mod movement: stock looks, improved performance, and lots of comfort. Call today!
