The car has a fresh 5.0 motor from a 1992 Gt with Aluminum heads , small high rise intake manifold with a 650 Holley 4 barrel carb , MSD Ignition , headers into a brand new Flowmaster exhaust. Car sounds incredible. The car has a Tremec 5 speed that shifts perfectly and has no play in the shifter , the clutch is fine. All new Disc brakes up front and new Drum brakes in the rear. Tires are 80% and mounted on Cobra Wheels. The car has an Aluminum driveshaft and the Suspension is tight and includes front and rear sway bars for exceptional handling. The car DOES NOT LEAK any fluids. The hood is fiberglass and has hood pins at all 4 corners , it can be completely removed or opened like any hood by just removing the 2 front pins. The paint is the Factory PPG color and is only a few years old ( it looks new ) the factory color is Chestnut Brown but it really looks like a Dark Copper color ( the paint is gorgeous ), and the interior is completely restored including new carpet , brand new seats and new headliner. All the glass in the car is nice and it has all new rubber seals around doors and windows. The dash is excellent with no splits or blemishes. The rear hatch area is very clean and comes equipped with a fire extinguisher. There is an aftermarket stereo installed but the dash remains factory stock with no cutting. The car has all the factory Ghia badges and factory Ghia steering wheel. All the factory books are included as well as a factory window sticker. The car is approximately 325 horsepower and the fact that the car ONLY WEIGHS 2550 LBS makes this a fast and fun ride.

I have a rare 1968 Ford Mustang Dixie Special for sale. This car was verified by Kevin Marti of Marti Auto Works to be an authentic Dixie Special Mustang. The Vin# has been verified in multiple places so this car is the real deal. This special edition Mustang was only available in Mississippi and Louisiana and only sold for a few months in 1968. It was based on the Springtime Sprint's package A with additional equipment including a Dixie Special license plate(not included, did not come with the car when I bought it), unique emblems that included 11 stars representing the first 11 states of the Confederate Union(not included, also did not come with the car when I bought it), and special paint(non-production yellow). Other options included a louvered hood, black vinyl roof, power steering, selectaire conditioner, and deluxe wheel covers(included). This car does need a full restoration. The floor pans, inner fender battery apron, and the trunk floor need to be replaced due to rust. It originally came with the inline 6 cylinder engine and C4 transmission but were already missing when I purchased the car. I have most of the interior parts included but the rear seat is missing. I also have 2 new floor pans, and 2 new black door panels. I am willing to deliver within a few hundred miles for a fee that can be negotiated after the sale is final.
