Featuring the original factory steel body, this exquisite Roadster has a chassis fabricated out of tubular three-inch pipes with a suicide front end, a 122-inch wheelbase, and 4 inch dropped axle. Each mount has been steel molded to perfection. The rear end is from a 1955 Chevy, while the engine is a 1958 Chevy 348. The grille was fabricated from a 1928 Rolls Royce with custom front fenders, designed to emphasize the unique styling of the late 1920s Rolls Royce. The Spirit of Ecstasy, also known as the Flying Lady Rolls Royce hood ornament is made of solid sterling silver and features her in the iconic standing position, a rare find as in 1934 she was changed to a kneeling pose. The original Rolls Royce emblem on the front of the grille is a shade of red, another interesting find as it is most often seen in black.
