One owner 2003 Ford Focus SVT. I am the original owner of this SVTF. Used only as a daily driver and has never been tracked and has not received any serious modifications just a short-throw shifter. No collisions aside from the common shopping cart accidents. Two sets of keys. The car has been really reliable. The factory mpg for the car (24 hwy/21 city) is underrated. I consistently average over 29mpg combined. On highway cruising at 70-75mph (with a few triple digit passing moments in between) I get around 33-35mpg - pretty good! Still runs strong. Recent upkeep done to the car include a new set of brake rotors and pads (10k miles), new set of wheels and tires (original SVT wheels were in bad condition, new set is 16x7.5), replaced the front sway bar end-links. The front hub and bearings and right front axle were recently replaced unfortunately this caused the ABS warning light to come on. I purchased a new set of bearings and hubs and also purchased the left front axle. These have not yet been installed but I will include them with the car. The HID capsules were also replaced just three weeks ago - nice and bright!! The ECU on the car was recently replaced. It was done through a dealership using a BRAND NEW ECU, not a used one purchased from a salvage. This is a part that is known to fail on these cars with this many miles/years hence I did not use a salvage part just for peace of mind. Car now seems to run better. The backlight for the cluster gauge failed many years ago - also a known issue with SVTs. Apparently there is a cheap fix for it but I never got around to doing it. The car has an aftermarket head unit and speakers. I have kept up with the maintenance of the car. Oil change is exclusively synthetic. The timing belt, drive belts, and water pump were replaced as per manufacturer recommendations. The majority of the pain on the body is still quite shiny. There is some fade and peeling on the front and rear bumpers. There is no major rust. There are some chipping on the hood from highway traveling. Local pick up only! Up for grabs is my beloved '03 Ford Focus SVT in Competition Orange European package with black Recaro seats and sunroof. I'm still getting my new car road worthy, new plates tires etc so this car won't be available for a couple weeks but I'd like to line someone up. I've owned the car for 12 years but it's time to say farewell. It's been serviced, and then serviced again. New catalytic, timing belt last summer, water pump/thermostat, hydraulic motor mount, tune up with new plugs and wires, fuel filter, various hoses, new oil pan, brakes, the suspension was done two years ago, all new door latches, some body and paint work from 3 deer running out in front of me and I'm sure there are more new parts I'm forgetting. Driver side seat is worn and torn a bit but all other leather seats are in great shape. 185,500 loved miles with regular oil changes and coolant flushes. 2002 Ford Focus SVT, I am selling my Ford Focus SVT for $4,125. Runs great with 155,000 miles. Motor is strong so is the transmission she shifts smoothly. As you can see in the photographs it has scratches in the front and back bumpers. Also has a crack in the front bumper and a couple of rusty spots by the hood and passenger door. Who ever buys this car needs to know that it has a exhaust leak and the driver door handled will need to be adjusted. Hi all,I bought this focus for my daily driver and I've had it for a few years. It's been a great car but recently has had a few problems. I don't have the space to work on it anymore so my lose your gain.PROS:Coil over suspensionHid lightsSolid bodyNo or minimal rustRuns smooth with no oil burningRuns and drives smoothNew Passengers ball joint, wheel hub, and wheel bearingNew drive axles with less than 100 miles CONS:Theres an odd sound at startup - Mechanic said it could be one of the pulleys going bad. There is also a humming when driving - Mechanic also told me this could be a wheel bearing. I had the passengers side replaced with the hub so it could be the driver side.Small body dents and some small imperfections on the bumpersI bought the car with a dent in the back. I'm not sure what happened but it is bad enough that the hatch doesn't fully seal. The latch will lock closed and it didn't bother me for the couple years I've had it but you may want to look at it.Drivers heated seat no longer worksCould use new tiresCD player does work but radio doesMight need a new key tumbler - the key is difficult to turn sometimes. I've researched this and it seems to be a common problem for focus.I may be forgetting some things so if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Has had all major services at 120,000 all belts & timing belt, Car is very fun to drive! Always maintained, 70,000 miles alone were put on the 101 commuting from Winnetka to Camarillo. Cars is very dependable, of all the vehicle I have owned this has been the best cost wise and the most maintenance free and affordable. You can tell by the condition of the car it is well taken care of, everything is original including original clutch. This Focus I would say would be good for another 100,000. The only issues with the car is there is a rock chip in the glass about the size of a quarter, I received an estimate if I want to replace the whole glass for just $150 installed. The other issue is the ABS modular went out, which mean that the ABS is not on, brakes work fine and just had them done it just means there is no Anti-Locking Brake system at all. Other that everything is good, the car looks very clean but has you average dent & chip here and there, the driver seat has a little of wear on it but still looks very good. The top of the rear bumper paint and top of the rear spoiler clear coat was chipping and had it sealed, but it is noticeable up close. I'm asking $4,800 firm to see what interest that will get me. Up for sale is a 2003 ford focus SVT European appearance package. Car is infrared and in good shape. has the cold weather package as well. Vehicle is eqiupped with recaro leather seats, heated seats, factory hids, sunroof, block heater, ford racing rally wheels, etc. Its 100 percent stock aside form a cone filter and flowmaster muffler. Clutch and timing components were done at 95k. All power features operate: Power windows, heated mirrors, locks, cruise control, moonroof. The red insert seats look great. The factory audiophile 6 disc in dash stereo works awesome - it pounds!!! Steering wheel controls work great. AC Blows ice cold. 6 Speed Transmission shifts smoothly with no grinds. Clutch is new and performs flawlessly. Suspension feels tight and ready as it should. The rear has had the addition of SPC rear camber arms to eliminate the premature inner tire wear issues these cars are known to have. The wheels are in nice, straight, clean condition. The front tires are near new. The rears have a bit more wear, but are overall nice. Brakes are all working good with lots of life left. ABS . traction control working without issue. Car runs, drives, starts and stops great. NO CODES / lights. A few drips of oil come off the back side of the upper oil pan. Once you park you might occasionally smell a bit of that oil smell if a drop gets on the cat. Not a big deal, but it's there. Clean clear North Carolina title in hand!!!
