Ford only made this Retractable hard top in 1957,58 and 9 months of 1959. Three options were available for the engine, all V8's. This one has the 332ci. This is a classic which should only grow in value. The car is all original except for the paint. It is its second coat of original colors teal and cream white. A beautiful combination. Right now the car is not running, however when I bought it 3 years ago, it ran fine. I have not used it in a long time, thus the possible problem. Personally, I think it requires either a carburetor adjustment or rebuild. The small motor which unfolds the front 1ft. of the hard top needs to be replaced. Otherwise, this car is in good working order, as far as the brakes and tranny are concerned. The Coker Classic whitewall tires are almost new. The interior is in excellent shape overall. There are no rips, stains or tears on the seats. The door panels and inside of hard top could use some reconditioning. All original chrome in pretty good shape. There is NO rust anywhere. The underside of the chassis has been coated. This is a very accurate description of the car. The car has been kept in a heated garage, and is available for inspection any time. Read my feedback.
