Offered for auction is a 2006 Ford F-150 XL 6 cylinder 5 speed work truck. This truck runs and drives excellent. But it is a work truck and will never be a show truck. It has rust on the front bumper, the ABS and brake light are on. There are minor rust bubbles around the wheel wells and drivers door handle. There are minor dents in the drivers door and rocker panel. It has a minor scrape in the drivers fender and 2 holes in the bed. There is some paint that has flaked off the bottom of the doors and some scale on the inside of all the doors. The interior is stained and dirty and has a rip in the drivers seat. (A seat cover would take care of that). Please see photos for defects. This minor rust, dings and dents are consistent with a work truck of this year and mileage. With a little TLC, this one owner truck, with has a nice set of tires should make a great truck at a fraction of the price of replacement cost. It is priced to sell quickly. I am only requiring a $250.00 deposit. If the Truck is not as described when you get here, or it's not what you thought it was, I will refund the deposit. However, if you don't show up to at least look at the truck I will not refund the deposit and will keep it as liquidated damages! (to many non paying bidders who forgot to check with their significant other!) One of the nicest 2007 4x4 F-150 XL's you're likely to find in the Northeast! Everything works. The only thing I'm not sure about is the aftermarket brake controller. It lights up and seems to pass the self test when you start the truck but I've never attempted to pull anything withe electric brakes so I don't know that it works.I am the second owner of this truck. It was in good condition when I got it, and it's in better condition now! I bought it almost 3 yrs ago with approximately 108,500 on it. At that time, approximately 7K miles ago I: Replaced both upper ball joints Replaced the Fuel Pump Controller (preventive measure, was starting to rot, common problem, improved mounting system prevents corrosion) Installed New Ford 5" Chrome Tubes Installed 4 New Alloy Wheels Installed 4 New OWL All Terrain LT Tires Installed 4 New Tire Pressure Sensors and Bands Installed Sirius Radio Replaced 8 Spark Plugs and 1 Fuel Injector Replaced A/C Blend Door (had a ticking noise, common problem) Last year I : Replaced the Black front XL Grill and Bumper filler with painted STX Model Parts. The bumper filler is the piece sandwiched between the bottom of the grill and the top of the bumper and runs fender to fender. Replaced the front center folding arm rest with an STX arm rest. This gives you the storage in the arm rest and two cup holders. Replaced the Dip Stick Tube This year in June, approximately 500 miles ago I: Replaced Front and Rear Disk Brake Pads with Wagner Gold Ceramic Brake Pads. They are quiet, stop great and VERY little dust! Replaced 4 Disk Brake Rotors Replaced 4 Disk Brake Calipers and Cradles Replaced the Master Cylinder All the works been done, you should get years and thousands of trouble free miles out of this truck! Options from the Factory include: Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Pkg 3.73 Axle Ratio Cruise Control AM/FM/Cd Player Sliding Rear Window Privacy Glass The photos were taken in April of this year when the truck had 114,790 miles on it. As of 11/8/14 it has 115,849 as you can see from the 2 odometer shots. As you can see I don't drive it much. It's mostly used to tow my 4 wheeler back and forth to the club and out to Maine once or twice a year. The price was set by averaging the retail price of Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, and NADA.
