Very rare 1979 F-100 Short Narrow Bed "Stepside" factory hotrod truck. I look for this kind of thing every day, and see maybe a half-dozen a year... very, very rare. 120k original miles, turn-key runner and driver with the factory 302 V8 and C4 automatic, power steering, power brakes, and rare three-spoke aluminum Sport steering wheel. Mostly original Pewter silver paint, touched up in spots, decent shine remains. Some rust beginning at the bed side seam, pinholes in the floor, two small metal patches on the driver's floor, a bit of rust at the door bottom, tiny spot up on the cab near the drip rail. I'm listing everything I can find; sounds like a lot but it's actually very minimal, and the truck is very sound.. Interior is original multi-colored blue in decent driver-quality condition. Bed wood is decent, not great. Covered by a thick durable rubber liner that makes it fully functional. Engine is the original 302 2v, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes. Good running and driving truck, cracked windshield, missing radio. Baby moon wheels, good radial tires, good brakes, steering, sound engine, etc. Factory mirrors removed, "clip-on" hotrod driver's side mirror installed... no extra holes; stock mirrors could go back on if you like. Clear title in hand, matches vin exactly for export and/or inspection. Please be prepared to remit payment in full by cash, major bank cashier's check (must wait until check physically clears the issuing bank prior to releasing the truck and/or title), deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank-to-bank transfer. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I will make myself and the vehicle available for loading on short notice. 1955 ford f100, rebuilt 460 with c-6 transmission. ford 9" rear end and a 76 Grand Torino front clip that was done personally. New summit 750 DP, front tilt hood, New 245/40/18 staggered front and rear wheels and tires. Blue LEDs under dash and engine compartment adds a nice accent when parked. Interior is finished off nice with a chrome front steering colum, function heater, lights, wipers, and blinker work properly. Intrepid front seat with fold down arm rest and cup holders. Seat cover are only on seats because of color in fabric doesn't match truck, he planned on having them recovered. Craftsmen ship on installation of seat is good. Body metal is solid with no visable rust, undercarriage as well. My videos will show. Origional owner has painted/primered truck to preserve metal until he could afford a quality paint job to finish off his truck. Truck looks good even primed the way he has it, gives it an industrial look.... But for someone looking for perfection, a professional paint job would finish truck off and add additional value as well. I have priced it accordingly. "Fair value". Glass is all good along with body lines and rubber seals. Doors open and shut properly. 460cid is a sound runner with great acceleration and braking, which gives you good control over the truck. as seen in videos. Turn key driver with electric choke.
