Because it was sitting in my barn / shop for over 12 years!!!1997 F350 XLT 4x4 Crew Cab (4 door) 7.3 Liter V-8 Diesel Powerstroke, Automatic with overdrive, Dana 60 front axle, Weld Racing Wheels and Toyo Open Country Radials (tires and wheels cost $4500) only 66,000 original miles Located in Seattle Washington 98188 1 mile from Seatac AirportI bought this in March 2003 with 59k miles and drove it for about a month and decided I wanted to install a lift kit so in April 2003 I put it on my Mohawk lift in my shop and unbolted the front leaf springs getting ready to install a 6" lift. I then got a gig that paid insane money so I went to work and let the truck sit. Long story short I just sold my shop this week (December 2015) so I had to move the F350. I decided I didn't want the 6" lift so I installed new HD F350 front springs and a reverse shackle kit that lifts the front about 3". New front calipers, brake lines , springs, shocks etc. truck now sits perfectly levelI did keep the batteries on a trickle (replaced them 3 years ago) and I started in a few times each year and kept up on the fuel, oil and anti freeze situation100% stock except the rear bumper and wheels and tiresThis is very likely the nicest ORIGINAL 1997 Ford F350 4x4 Powerstroke left in the worldI have chrome differential covers, new rotors and pads etc that also go with it I can deliver this anywhere on the west coast Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada or Arizona for actual fuel costs, a ride to the airport and the cost of my plane ticket home.
