1996 F-350 7.3 Power Stroke Turbo Diesel. I am the original owner, I purchased it new when I was apprenticing at Pollard Ford in Lubbock Texas 20 years ago. This truck is an XLT shortbox, extra-cab, 5spd, F-350 with full factory F-350 suspension including original Dana 60 front axle and heavy duty front and rear factory sway bars. Also equipped with the heavy duty F-350 towing transfer case, 3.55 Limited Slip differential, power windows, power seats, power mirrors and air conditioning that will freeze you solid. While I was working as a technician at Ford, there was a problem with the air boxes that led to a brand new engine being put in under warranty at 52,000 miles. The new engine included a brand new turbo charger assembly, updated LUK 1pc flywheel and clutch. Full synthetic transmission/transfer case fluid since new.This truck has never been undercoated or been in any accidents. It is original paint and has been babied its entire life. With the new F-350 diesels on the lots going for $60-70k, this is a once in a lifetime chance to own a one owner, low mileage 7.3 in the most desirable body style. Certified Barn Find ! So how do I know it was a "Barn Find" ? Because it was sitting in my barn / shop for over 12 years!!!1997 F350 XLT 4x4 Crew Cab (4 door) 7.3 Liter V-8 Diesel Powerstroke, Automatic with overdrive, Dana 60 front axle, Weld Racing Wheels and Toyo Open Country Radials (tires and wheels cost $4500) only 66,000 original miles Located in Seattle Washington 98188 1 mile from Seatac AirportI bought this in March 2003 with 59k miles and drove it for about a month and decided I wanted to install a lift kit so in April 2003 I put it on my Mohawk lift in my shop and unbolted the front leaf springs getting ready to install a 6" lift. I then got a gig that paid insane money so I went to work and let the truck sit. Long story short I just sold my shop this week (December 2015) so I had to move the F350. I decided I didn't want the 6" lift so I installed new HD F350 front springs and a reverse shackle kit that lifts the front about 3". New front calipers, brake lines , springs, shocks etc. truck now sits perfectly levelI did keep the batteries on a trickle (replaced them 3 years ago) and I started in a few times each year and kept up on the fuel, oil and anti freeze situation100% stock except the rear bumper and wheels and tiresThis is very likely the nicest ORIGINAL 1997 Ford F350 4x4 Powerstroke left in the worldI have chrome differential covers, new rotors and pads etc that also go with it I can deliver this anywhere on the west coast Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada or Arizona for actual fuel costs, a ride to the airport and the cost of my plane ticket home. This is a great truck, the pinnacle of Fords legendary 7.3 diesel development. With only 141000 miles there are lots of miles left to enjoy this truck. These are hard to come by in this condition. From the factory XLT package it has the full power group, Windows, seat with adjustable lumbar, locks, cruise control, rear window slider, full Guage package, ice cold Ac, intermittent wipers.
