THIS IS NOT YOU NORMAL DISEL TRUCK,I HAVE SPENT A TON OF MONEY ON IT TO MAKE IT A GREAT TRUCK.HERES HOW THE STORY GOES,I BOUGHT LAST YEAR,RAN GREAT DROVE IT ABOUT 2000 MILES AND THEN IT STARTED ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS WITH THE ENGINE.FIRST OFF THE EGR WENT BAD SO WHEN I HAD IT APART I PUT AN EGR DELETE KIT IT AND AN EBAY OIL COOLER(BIG MISTAKE) ALSO A NEW TURBO AND NEW WATER PUMP,THAT FIXTED IT FOR ABOUT 1500 MILES AND THEN THE EBAY OIL COLLER EXPLODED AND RUINED THE COMPLETE COOLING SYSTEM,IT GOT HOT ON ME AND IT LOOKED LIKE GREY GOJO COMING OUT OF THE COOLANT RESIVORE.SO I STARTED OVER AGAIN THIS TIME I TOOK IT APART STARTING WITH THE HEADS,HAD THEM AND THE BLOCKED FOR CRACKS AND THATS THE ONLY GOOD NEWS I GOT IT ONLY BLOWED THE HEAD GASKET.STARTED BACK TOGETHER WITH NEW FELPRO GASKETS AND ARP HEAD STUD KIT AND NEW INJECTORS AND FLUSHED COOLANT SYSTEM,IT RUINED THE COOLANT TANK AND RADIATOR SO REPLACED THEM AND THE OIL COOLER WITH FORD REPLACEMENTS,NOW IT IS WHAT THEY CALL BULLITPROOF,HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL FOR 5 TO 6THOUSAND MILES ONLY SELLING BECAUSE I BOUGHT A NEWER CHEVY.THE FORD RUNS AND DRIVES AND PULLS BETTER THAN THE CHEVY.I ONLY USE THEM TO PULL MY ONE CAR TRAILER TO CAR SHOWS AND SWAP MEETS.THE BODY IS RUST FREE,THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS A SCRAPE,IT IS SITTING ON NEW TIRES AND THE INTERIOR IS IN GOOD CONDITION EXCEPT THE DRIVES BOLSTER IS TORN.BELOW IS WHAT I SPENT ON THE TRUCKI PAID $6000 for the truckTHIS IS A 2 WHEEL DRIVE TRUCK THAT NEED NOTHING. SUPER HARD TO FIND AND HIGHLY DESIRABLE 2002 FORD F250 4X4 4 DOOR SUPER CAB 8 FT BED FRAME PICKUP TRUCK THAT IS POWERED BY A STRONG 7.3 POWERSTROKE TURBO DIESEL ENGINE AND THE NEAR IMPOSSIBLE 6 SPEED MANUAL SHIFT TRANSMISSION. THIS TRUCK IS ALSO VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND WITH RESPECTABLE MILES AND THIS ONE IS LOW AT 144,221 ACTUAL MILES. THERE ARE NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS AND NO KNOWN MECHANICAL OR DRIVE TRAIN ISSUES. THE 7.3 POWERSTROKE TURBO DIESEL ENGINE FIRES UP WHEN THE GLOW PLUG CYCLE COMPLETES. THERE IS NO SMOKE AT START UP AND NO SMOKE AFTER THE ENGINE WARMS. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS OUT SMOOTHLY IN ALL GEARS AND THE CLUTCH IS TIGHT. TRUCK DRIVES OUT EXCELLENT AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE 4X4 TRANSFER CASE IS ELECTRONIC KNOB SHIFT AND FUNCTIONS EASILY WITH NO ISSUES IN HIGH OR LOW RANGE. THE RUST FREE CAB BODY AND PANELS HAVE DENTS/DINGS , CHIPS , SCRATCHES AND ETC. SO NOT A PERFECT BODY BUT NO RUST AT ALL TO REPAIR. THE WHITE PAINT SHINES UP NICELY. THE CAB INTERIOR IS EXCELLENT FOR A 13 YEAR OLD TRUCK. THE SEATS LOOKS NICE AND THEY STILL HAVE ALOT OF LIFE LEFT. THE CARPET IS VERY GOOD WITH MINOR NORMAL WEAR . AIR CONDITIONING, POWER WINDOWS ,LOCKS, CRUISE AND FACTORY ALUMINUM WHEELS. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS HAS NO DRIPS OR FLUID MARKS WHEN PARKED ON DRY PAVEMENT. WE DO NOT HAVE SERVICE HISTORY RECORDS FOR THE TRUCK. THE TIRES ARE FAIR CONDITION AND THE NEW OWNER WILL PROBABLY REPLACE WITH THEIR PREFFERED TREAD TYPE. SO HERE WE HAVE A VERY DIFFICULT TRUCK TO FIND. 6 SPEED MANUALS DIESELS WITH 4X4 ARE NEAR IMPOSSIBLE AND WHEN YOU DO FIND THEM THE MILES ARE NOT VERY ATTRACTIVE. This is a 1997 model truck that has been well taken care of. The truck started life out as a gold color and was painted at a Ford dealership prior to me buying it. They did a quality job and it is holding up quite well. The truck has zero rust, but it does have a couple dings. They are nothing to be to concerned about but if you are looking for a perfect truck you should look elsewhere. I do believe it would be very hard to find more truck for less money. I have put 65K trouble free miles on the truck with the exception of having the transmission rebuilt and a billet converter installed, which was done as prevention. Price just reduced from $13,699!! If you know anything about these trucks you know this is rare. Crew Cab Short bed. Truck has 149,864 miles, smooth shifting auto tranny with or, New 10ply Cooper tires, Timbren rear suspension, ISSPRO tranny and Pyro gauges, TSP 6 position chip with high idle, brake box, Goodyear Gatorback serp belt, 2 batteries less than a year old. Truck is in pretty good shape but she is 20 years old and not perfect. Has a couple spots in the paint above rears tires that is bubbled which I will try to picture best as possible. Tailgate is a little beat up but functions just fine. Interior is in great shape with no dash cracks, Has no mechanical issues. Steering wheel controls do not work, and horn doesn't blow.
