The body looks straight and the paint is shiny and bright and looks good overall, but it does show some dings, scratches, etc. The tires will need replaced sooner rather then later . There are no cracks in the windshield, but it does show some typical road wear, rock chips, etc. It has the typical scratches/dings/dents/rock chips that you'd expect, that are consistent with age and use on a 2003 work truck, but it still has an overall nice look. Interior The interior of this Ford is in overall good shape. The upholstery looks good overall, but does show some wear and blems here and there. The vinyl flooring is in good shape overall. The headliner has been cleaned and has a good overall look to it. The air blows cold - we ran it for over 30 minutes while taking pictures. It doesn't appear to have been smoked in as there is no odor of such. It has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc. that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall good look to it, and it certainly looks to have been taken care of. Mechanics This Diesel starts right up and idles fine and has good power and acceleration and drives straight down the road. It has a good solid feel to it. Brakes feel good. We’ve inspected and detailed it and it’s ready to drive wherever you need. It's a straight looking truck, no body damage, tires have good tread, interior is clean and well detailed and the truck runs/drives very well. These trucks are very durable and this one has seen routine fleet maintenance and should be good for a long while yet. exterior The paint and body on this truck are quite presentable. On the short, it's a good looking truck, very serviceable. It has been used for work but we've gone over it and taken care of what's needed to make it look nice. The windshield is free of cracks, bed liner is new, tires and wheels look pretty good, and doors all open and close fine. There's some scratches on the headlights and grille but they're not real noticeable. It had hail on the hood which was fixed. The roof still has some hail, and if you're really hunting for it you can see super faint marks to some extent on the passenger upper sides. We did paint the bed sides from dings, but they've done a pretty good jot, it was done in base-clear and matches perfectly. We don't think the truck hasn't been in any accidents, and it hasn't seen a lot of road salt like great lakes trucks, no crusty rust anywhere, just a bit dirty underneath like many work trucks. The photos should show it well. interior The cabin is in good shape. It's been well detailed and came up nice. There's no rips in the upholstery. It has a little wear on the drivers floor board vinyl. The dash, doors, headliner, etc, all pretty good, light use wear in the door pockets, few holes in the lower dash from speaker previously mounted, etc, just a service rig. It was stripped during cleaning and well gone through, doesn't reek of smoke or mal-odor. mechanical The rig has been through our shop, changed the oil, filter, checked over the brakes, belts, hoses, etc, it doesn't leak. We changed a few tie-rods, the oil, filter, and replaced an exhaust pipe that was bad. It does not have sensors in the tires, so the tire pressure light is on, we can install sensors at cost if you like. I've put roughly 300 miles on it running around. It's a fairly stiff ride, but easy to drive and fine to drive on the highway. I've put over 2000lbs in the back and it barely sags, definitely designed to haul load. I've never had any tranny hiccups or drivability issues, just seems to be a very solid well serviced truck. comments This is a good workhorse for fair money. The truck has been under fleet maintenance its' whole life. It looks presentable, runs/drives well, has a clean history, and needs nothing to get right on the road. It's not new or perfect, but it's a very sound heavy duty service rig with a long haul to go yet. exterior The body on this truck is decent overall. There's no obvious damage, it's just not brand new. The paint isn't filthy, no scaly rust, no hail, or bad dents. It hasn't been exposed to a lot of road salt. The truck has seen dirt roads so the rockers are somewhat pitted. It's a service vehicle, not a heavy oil field use truck, but it's not a virgin. The wheels look fine and tires have good deep tread. Up front it has a nice push guard that will fit a winch if needed. Out back, the utility topper is a neat setup with the flip up sides. The truck appears to be pre-wired for a power inverter if you need one. The doors all open and close fine, truck has a clean history and hasn't been wrecked as best we can tell. There's been a repaired spot to the left front bed side and left rear bed side, seams were popped on the bed, likely from overloading the roof rack, pretty common on these. The fix is solid and looks ok. There's a handful of small nicks, road wear as mentioned, and some light brush scratches on both sides, left rear lower rocker has a dented spot without paint damage. We can buff out the truck if you like, but It doesn't look bad, and she's a work horse. The bed has normal wear inside, but not too bad. interior The interior is equal. It's been nicely detailed and came up fine. The upholstery shows a little wear and tear, no bad rips though. It doesn't reek of smoke inside. The truck is well equipped, XLT type upholstery and all power options, tilt/cruise etc. It has the normal wear in the door pockets, and some small holes in the dash from previously mounted equipment. Everything there works fine. The passenger seat has a broken bolster trim panel, missing 2 other trim bits as well. The full replacement, is about $130 if you want them all done. The air blows cold and heat is functional. mechanical This pickup runs out well. It has new oil, filter, we removed a couple broken exhaust studs on one side and fixed that, replaced a coil pack, and took care of a few other little details. It's generally been well maintained and these trucks are just so durable, you should be fine for years to come. The motor is strong, trans shifts fine, 4x4 works as it should, very solid rig. I have a 1996 Ford F250 XL for sale. V8 5.8L 351. Standard Cab 2x4. Has electric lift gate on back, passes emissions with tremendous ease. I bought the vehicle from a business I used to work for. They service their trucks regularly and this one was involved in a minor accident. The Front right was a little dented, hence the green front fender. Truck as a little less than 274,000 miles. It is a work horse. Hate to sell the truck but its too hard to drive a project in work. Just changed the ball joints, new front brakes, new tire rod end(rightside). I have changed the oil every 2000 miles and the filter every 4000-6000. The only current problems i have currently found, the crank case(bottom rear) has a little leak in the seal. {major work for a minor problem(for now)}. The steering column might have a little snag? sometimes the wheel gets a little stiff.The good, The truck starts up everytime, good for long rides(minues gas mileage)has decent aftermarket speakers hooked uphas cd player600 watt amp under seat.tool box Electric lift gate Truck comes as is. Might be a little ugly but she Runs like a champ and i really dont want to see it go just need something I can drive as well, money is tight as always.. $3000 obo.
