They don't sell stuff like this, so we acquired it from them. The vehicle is a Colorado original vehicle with a clean history and it hasn't been smoked in. It runs great, doesn't leak, everything works, and it's generally quite good looking. The interior is hard loaded, heated leather seating, DVD, automatic climate, and power everything. It has straight exhaust and should get very fair fuel economy for a vehicle its size. These are becoming increasingly difficult to find in nice shape, you'll like this one just fine. Local customers will be provided with a 30 day 2000 mile warranty at asking price plus $249 handling and applicable taxes. exterior The paint and body on this rig are in good shape. It's a hard color to match and everything does, paint should be original except the front bumper which we replaced due to a ding on the right side. The vehicle hasn't seen road salt, so no body rot. The undercarriage looks good, few little dirty spots, but nothing wet/drippy. The wheels are in fair shape, windshield has 1 little chip but no cracks. The paint all has good gloss, tires have decent tread that's evenly worn. The truck has a few small dings on the left front fender, a couple on the hood, the lower rockers have light road wear and there's a few light very light superficial scratches about the body. It's still a used vehicle, but it's definitely been very well kept and stands tall. The photos should do it justice. interior The interior is clean and well kept as well. It smells nice, not like smoke at all. Everything has been detailed, though it didn't take long; vehicle came in nice and clean. This one has all the power options, tilt, cruise, steering mount controls, heated seating, 2 tone leather, the dvd player w/ 2 headphones, keyless, and rear air. As far as I can tell, everything works, I haven't tried the DVD or CD player, not every last knob but she seems to be all here. Apart from a little light in/out wear on the drivers bolster it's all just clean and comfy. mechanical We received this truck in very good operating order and havent needed to do much. It fires right up when cold and doesn't sit there and sputter till warm. The injectors are in good shape. It has good power, drives straight, front end feels tight, and it shifts well. The trans fluid is nice and red, oil is new, it has good brakes, and isn't leaking anything wet. The 4x4 engages properly, really nothing to fault it for. This truck does have straight exhaust. If you are in an emissions zone, please discuss this with us before purchase, it will need a cat installed. As for now, it sounds mean, will get good fuel economy for size, and again, should be a good vehicle for a long haul yet. comments This is a sound Excursion and a good option. The rest of the exterior is excellent Has New Tires. Rear Tires are Goodyear Silent Armor Kevlar enforced, and front are Michelin MS2. Rarely requires the use of 4x4 with this tire setup With the Michelin's up front it is nice and smooth without the undesireable attributes of a knobby tire on your steering axle. Interior: All I can say is WOW! Unbelievably well kept. Even the drivers seat is near perfect. All the leather throughout the Excursion is wonderful. Interior carpeting is in exquisite condition. No abnormal smells or stains. Light wear at the 12 o clock position on the steering wheel Has all the bells and whistles one could ask for. Every single Sunday morning like clockwork he was out there detailing it. It was his baby. As for the ownership history. he bought it new in his company name. He then transferred it to himself personally as it was already his personal vehicle and never used for work. He owned a company that serviced and rented diesel equipment in Colorado. This truck was leased by BNSF to do railroad worker transportation and service. It has the mileage, but the vehicle is just unusually clean. We regularly see sub 100k mile Excursions that are far more used up that this one. We brought this one up from New Mexico, it has not seen road salt. We installed the rims and tires and roof rack, brought it through the shop, put in a new alternator, steering gear and fixed a few other little things. It doesn't leak to speak of, motor runs great, shifts nice, drives well, and the interior and paint/body is just super clean. Carfax shows a ton of service documentation and preventative maintenance and it hasn't been in any accidents as best we can tell. It came in with the winch and we have the controller, all functional. Whether you need an affordable rig for your chalet, or just need a big people mover and don't have a fortune to spend this is a sound vehicle with a long ways to go yet. exterior The paint and body on this rig are in excellent shape for a 150k mile truck. It has nice gloss, no rust, hail, or body damage at all. There's no dents and no bad scratches. That being said, it's still a used vehicle. We touched up a handful or rock chips on the front bumper upper trim, the hood has some pitting from a lot of freeway driving, there's a little road wear on the lower rockers, etc. The glass is good, free of cracks. The roof rack is an older setup but it looks really nice. The winch works well, tires have good deep tread, wheels are new and everything seems to line up well. There is a little dust wear on the drivers window. We've had pretty good luck using rubbing compound and super fine steel wool to pull the scratches out of these before and will do so before delivery. interior The interior is awesome. We pulled the seating out and cleaned everything very well. There's no bad stains in the upholstery, drivers seat bolster isn't all worn out, flooring and headliner look pretty good. It's not without wear; there's a little seam busted in the drivers seat back, some holes in the dash from mounting equipment, few marks here and there, etc. This is still a used commercial truck and not new, but again, we see stuff with a fraction this mileage that looks way more beat up. mechanical We received this truck in very good order. It's been through our shop, changed the oil, filter, battery, alternator, and replaced the power steering gear box. It does not leak at all, oil pan is bone dry, fluids all good and full, trans fluid is about 1/2 life it should be good for another 30k miles. The brake pad life is good and the thing drives excellent. The front end is pretty tight, ball joints have probably been done several times, 4x4 works, all and all just a good solid rig. The underside of this SUV is very clean, never any rust (see photos)The previous owner took excellent care of this rig, always used Valvoline oil, stayed on top of all maintenance issues and it shows.This rig starts, runs, drives and stops excellent in every way, very tight, lots of power, smooth and quiet, is in great considtion for its age and will make someone very happy. Options and Drive train:This big rig is equipped with a powerful 6.8L Triton V10, auto trans, ice cold front/rear AC, power windows/locks, tint, heated leather, 3rd row seating, parking sensors, DVD, tow package with trailer brakes, heated mirrors, keyless entry, roof rack, running boards and more. I just replaced all of the brakes with 4 new rotors/pads, new windshield, 4 brand new Pathfinder AT  radial tires on alloy wheels. Though in excellent overall condition, this a used 17 year old 4x4 SUV and there are some to be expected imperfections. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback and no one likes surprises. Right now 3 of 4 door locks do not operate (they move a little, just not enough) from the switch, this is a very common Ford issue.
