I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened a small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3's trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. We drove this home several thousand miles no problem, recently in this PA cold spell it fired right up at 10 degrees. First let me start by letting you al know its a rebuilt title, for those of you who don't know what that means Is according to the prior owner a tree fell on the bed a few years ago and damaged it,with the low book value these older trucks carry the insurance company totaled it an the owner bought it back and slapped a bed on it. I got title free and clear in my possession ready for new owner This 97 Ford F250 XLT 4WD Ext cab longbox, 7.3 Powerstroke diesel 5 speed with a 4 inch lift 35's, dana 1 ton solid front axel, traction bars lots of gauges and lights, light switch from shifter and more!!! I have been driving this truck 3 months just back from south Carolina. Its near perfect mechanically it has all new brakes, master cyl, rotors, also brand new cooper LT 10 ply radials, new ty rods, alignment, also to top things I had the tranny bulletproofed rebuilt about 3 mos ago with recipt and 6 month warranty included. New glow plugs and batteries fires her right up, no smoke no blow by or leaks, super tight front end, drives like a 2014 truck but 1/10th the price, exterior paint looking original, very glossey nice straight truck, good frame, oil pan ect...Interior very good too all toys working, definatly a truck you'd be proud to have in your driveway. The exterior body is just absautly mint, all original paint real straight no rust, Colorado does not use salt like the northeast so you just cant find trucks in this condition out here, it is why I spend thousands of dollars shipping or driving these in from out there. Interior had seat covers since new and under you can see the flawless seats, everything working non smoker smells and looks like new. All options working, cold air hot heat ready to go. Frame/oil pan unibody all in perfect shape. Mechancally awesome, good hot injectors, batteries and glow plugs and this 7.3 fires right up, no smoke no drips no issues on this well maintained gal. Tranny was reman and tow updated last year has big converter and shift kited valve body good firm shifts. Real tight front end nice and tight at 65, awesome flowmaster complete 4 inch stainless exhaust with muffler, I just installed new brakes and rotors and almost new cooper rubber. I am selling this 2001 ford f250 with a 7.3l powerstroke diesel. the truck runs and drives great. it has a 8ft utility body on the back. the utility body is in working shape and has some rust on it like all of them do. it is actually a neat and useful bed. the inside of the truck is clean and everything works. ac is ice cold and heat is red hot. i had the truck painted and it looks very good. not a perfect truck but a good work truck for someone. the truck has a fresh pa state inspection and is ready to go. i have the title in hand and ready to make a deal. any questions please ask before bidding. cash only at time of sale. Here is what I know, I bought this from the Ford dealer in Colorado it was traded form the original owner who was in the military he bought a new truck. The Dealer serviced this since new filters/fluids every 6K just hit the key in 2 turns she is making powerstroke music to my ear hitting beautiful on all 8. No smoke no blow by no drips. I did an injector test and compression she is very even and perfect there. Tranny just serviced and shifting great, good tight front end ball joints ty rods all good, I just did some brake work she stopps tight and also tight in the front end at 75, rubber is ok for now like 40/50% sale includes PA state insp for any PA buyer, should have no issue in other states to my knowledge, Inside the interior its mint condition, ice cold air, no cracks, tears, smells or stains had my detail shop get her looking great, the exterior body is fantastic, no rust, no major denting, scrapes ect real clean, glossey paint, straight body no sccidents, frame, oil pan and all looking great, its a Colorado truck no salt out there,,remember this is the last of the 7.3's guys one of the final of the best to roll off the assembly line in my opinion the best of the best before all hell broke out with the 6.0's, hard to find longbed ext cab's so don't play around lowballing my buy it now is the bottom and very fair too, do the research you'll see!!! Also just keep in mind its a 13 year old pickup in original condition so some minor wear and tear like a few stone nicks, tiny scratch, possibly a parking lot ding or 2 might be included, please look over photos and check her out but nothing needed in my opinion.Fly in drive home she is ready to hit the road issue free, or let me ship it my guys work fair priced too!!!!! She had all of its manintence fires right up no problem, good injectors and glow plugs, hot batteries, rotella oil every 5000 miles pappy did a fantastic job of taking car of his baby. Has new rubber, good brakes, ball joints drives true and straight, trans just serviced and shifting perfect, Body is original and mint she was a garaged truck out west never in salt, frame is like new as is the oil pan and brakes lines. Real straight truck with some tow options, spray in liner, alloy wheels and more. You must see to belive the interior never smoked in alaways covered seats look and smell like new, no cracks has everything working and ice cold air. Add to that very low miles ponly 190K original car fax certified. Exterior its nice I bought it in Fort Lauderdale FL where it spent its whole life so no rust and its nice original looking paint. No accidents, frame is like new, very sharp glossey paint, outside of some normal dings and scratches you'd expect on a 20 year old pickup truck its super sweet. Inside same shape no rips or tears no stains or smells, everything working nicely, but mechanically it is just the best, truck fires up on 2 turns of the starter motor, the 7.3 is strong and no smoke or blow by at all, no leaks, hit the throttle and she has you back in the seat with all that factory low mile power!!! Trans shifts perfect, tight front end, good brakes, dual style exhaust, tires only fair, truck is stock no lifts, chips or programmers. Mechanically the BEST!! The 7.3 fires right up no blow by no smoke no leaks, and power oh my yes, hit the throttle and get put back in the seat. Trans shifts smoothe, 4x4 no problems, great batteries, glow plugs and injectors. Real tight front end ball joints, ty rods all good will go down the road at 75 real straight, rubber good, brakes and exhaust all good., fresh filters and fluids too, will include new PA insp.. As far as the body you will not find a nicer 97 anywhere, all orig paint no rust, no major denting or ext paint is glossey and clearcoats are excellent, hard to believe its a 97 but it is, frame, brake lines and oil pan also perfect, interior clean with all the toys working does have minimal wear on front seats but everything else inside is mint!
