It has been that way since I bought it. It does not affect the brakes or ABS System. I had it checked out at an automotive shop that specializes in electrical. They said the problem is in the cluster and would have to be removed at $75.00 an hour, rebuilt for $200.00 and the $75.00 an hour to re-install it. They said it does not affect anything and is common with Fords so sell it "AS IS." I am also willing to give anyone the phone # to the garage that does all my work.
