Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. Up for sale today is a clean Maryland Inspected 2004 Ford Explorer with 162,XXX original miles. This Explorer is in great condition. It recently passed MARYLAND INSPECTION, so the Inspection Certificate will come with the vehicle. This is a very nice vehicle. It is finished in a dark grey and the paint looks good. There are a few little dings here and there (see pictures). All of the body lines are smooth and even. All of the glass and lenses are intact. 17" FORD WHEELS & BRAND NEW TIRES (PICTURES SHOW OLD WHEELS AND TIRES, WHICH ARE THE SAME, JUST 16"). Please take your time and review each of the photos carefully. The interior of this Explorer is also in great condition. The Tan cloth interior compliments the Dark Grey exterior and shows well with no rips or tears. The dash is clean and has no cracks, faded spots or excessive wear. The carpets show well throughout the interior but do have a couple of small stains. The door panels are clean and intact. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and door keypad all work properly. The 3 rows of seats are clean and comfortable. The Hatch Area is also clean and well kept. The heat and air condition work properly. The radio and speakers sound great. Mechanically, this Explorer is in great running and driving condition. The 6 cylinder Flex Fuel engine starts easily and runs smoothly (Flex fuel vehicles can run on regular gas or Ethanol). The engine does not smoke or leak. The suspension is nice and tight as it should be. The steering is neutral and responsive. The New Front Brakes and Rotors are strong and stop this Explorer with no problems (Also has new Ball Joints). Her road manners are Excellent. The engine keeps proper temperature and oil pressure at all times. There are no warning lights on. She drives down the road confidently and feels solid. The engine makes great power and gets good gas mileage for a truck of this size. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts as it should. Out on the highway, this Explorer cruises effortlessly. She goes straight down the road with no complaints and can be driven with ease. I have personally driven this vehicle over 1,000 miles over the past 2 months and have had NO issues. Pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle. Suspension System; Ball joint seals damaged, Structural parts bent or damaged, Stabilizer bar disconnected, Spring broken, Shock absorber mounting loose, Rubber bushings damaged or missing, Radius rod damaged or missing, Shock absorber leaking or functioning improperly. Tires - Tread depth less than 2/32 inch, Sizes mismatched, Visible damage. Wheels - Visible cracks, damage or repairs, Mounting bolts loose or missing. Exhaust System - Leakage. All cars are used machines and used machines need general repairs on a regular basis many times without prior warning. This is especially true for name brand highline & exotic vehicles that have more elaborate features and systems. Also repairs are more common on say a 10 year old model car as opposed to a 2 or 3 year old model car since they cost significantly less than a newer car. Obviously the older the car the more possible this is of happening. So this is why seller highly recommends again that you purchase this warranty for your own peace of mind and general satisfaction. Can I purchase a long term extended warranty? Most vehicles qualify for a 2 or 3 or 4 year extended warranty plan depending on mileage and age of the vehicle. There are several different plans available for most vehicles. Some vehicles may not qualify for extended warranties. Exotic vehicles, High performance luxury vehicles, antique vehicles, or certain high mileage vehicles may not qualify for a warranty plan. No matter how comprehensive any warranty is it does not cover routine service or maintenance. Nor does any warranty cover every item on the vehicle. It is merely an insurance policy offered to offset the cost of more significant expenses. Can I see or inspect the vehicle in person? Prospective bidders are always welcome view, or arrange onsite inspections of the vehicle they are interested in BEFORE the close of the auction. Seller recommends that buyer have a third party inspection if buyer is unable to inspect vehicle in person before the close of auction. Once the auction has ended the vehicle is now considered sold and Seller does not permit any post sales inspections at that point. Vehicle may have slightly higher miles than what is shown due to test drives, demos, etc. Do you end auctions early? Seller reserves the right to end the auction early should it be deemed necessary. I have a 2002 Ford Explorer in great condition with third row seats and a push button 4x4. The exterior and interior of the car is extremely clean and Its in mechanically great condition and rides and drives like its brand new. This car comes with an equipped 6 disc cd changer. Winter is coming and this car well do more then enough for the snow with its 4x4, the tires have plenty of tread on them. Also a great family car with the third row seats providing plenty of room. Its great on gas with a v6 engine! there are no check engine lights in this car as it has been very well maintenance and had only one previous owner, I also checked the car fax and it was completely clean.
